Ive germ'd 35 or so seeds consecutively without a single dud over the yrs.

recently...3 beans = no plants. well kinda...one did make it above soil but the plant was stuck inside the seed and i tried to let it run its course but when it still didnt come off i attempted to gently open the seed up and take it off. that didnt work (leaves were literally STUCK to the seed itself)

one sprouted but died before it came above soil and the 3rd wont germ.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

i never had such crap luck.

right now this is what i have in my arsenal of strains to grow:

from old promos i have 2 reg hash plant haze and 2 SAGE regs.

from herbies (just came in last week) i have:
3 fem fruitylicious from mandala
3 fem california dream from mandala
1 dinafem critical jack
1 dinafem diesel
1 pyramid seeds super hash
1 RP kandy kush
2 DNA lemon skunk
5 seedsman sleestack x skunk #1

on the way i have more from attitude but out of what i have what should i (ATTEMPT) to pop next?

and yes i germ in paper towels then carefully transplant to soil and keep moist without it being soggy so it can breathe in there.

Its a real nice girl to grow,Gl

-_- thats one of my failed duds. i got it as a freebie during some promo.

it pop'd in the paper towels but for no good reason it died even tho the other seedling next to it (germ'd at the same time and given the same treatment) made it (this was the 1 with the seed stuck on it and the leaves broke after i gently tried to pry it off.

how i tried to take it off was by using 2 small needles and pushing the seed open from the inside w/ a criss-cross pattern. i was just trying to ease the seed open so it would fall off rather than prying on the seed w/ my bare hands.

those were old beans though. not SUPER old but a year or two. i keep em in an old altoids container w/ all my other beans. its stored in a dry place and never messed with. ive had beans in there 3 yrs old that sprouted before. so idk wats the deal w/ em.

i got these new beans so im sure they will be viable. i just hate when the seed gets stuck on. any tips to prevent that from happening? or ways to take it off that are more guaranteed to work?
