Everytime i hear this song it reminds me of my mom an dad dancing in there living room in 78.
I was 4, life was perfect.
Right after that they divorced an I didnt see mom anymore.
The lost innocence of childhood is what this song makes me remember.
Im about to tear up......

If your mom is still with us you should find her and tell her.

Great artist. He will be missed. Gotta love Baker street. Lot of people don't know he was also the lead singer for Stealers Wheel.
He sings the song Stuck in the middle. Interesting factoid.

Stuck in the Middle always reminds me of my Air Force days in Montana, 1972-74. It made me a little emotional when I read that he died (lost youth, again, I guess). Dude, I'm glad the song makes you remember the good times, mom and dad dancing. It's also OK to mourn the bad times.....

For the record, he didn't sing with Stealer's Wheel; he played steel guitar. Watch the video for Stuck In The Middle, you'll see. When my wife died this time last year, this song kept me from blowing my brains out. I'm bummed he died under the conditions he did. May the joy & love his music gave us lift him into the arms of Our Father.
