Yes, you get your info from tv and movies if you automatically think schizophrenic means someone hears voices telling them to kill you. First of all, not all schizophrenics are paranoid schizophrenics. Secondly, not only are there different TYPES of schizophrenia, there are different LEVELS within those types. Not everyone who is schizophrenic is hearing voices telling them to kill you, saying that makes you sound extremely ignorant.
How do you prevent alzheimer's? Or dementia? I mean, I was under the impression that the medical world was still trying to understand what CAUSES these things, and you already know how to prevent it? You should share your knowledge with the world, you could make a fortune.
And who's asking you to put up with people like that? You never met my grandma did you? So you never had to put up with her, WE did, and we didn't mind.
I think it's sad that you would stop loving your mother if she suffered from a disease that deteriorated her mind. But I really don't believe you would, I think you're either just saying that because you don't want to agree with me, or because you haven't really thought it through (or you don't love your mother in the first place, and the point is moot).

Did I say they ALL had hallucinations? NO I didn't! Yes I would love my mother but I don't think she should be in society like that. Smoking after age 65 increases your chances of developing Alzheimer’s by 79%?

It was very possible that could of happened whether she was your grandmother or not. I could she where you could never believe that because who she was to you though. But it is a fact it could of happened."
That's what you said, making it obvious you don't know have any personal experience with anyone who has this disease.
And I hate to break it to you honey, but those aren't ways to PREVENT it, they're ways to "reduce your risk" because there IS NO WAY TO PREVENT IT.

IT'S A FACT THEY CAN HAVE. Did I say all were like that? NO! But there is a possibility of it. Reducing is a way of helping prevent.

As much as I hate Hitler I do believe he was right on that. I hate the guy but they were becoming a strong force in the world. I don't care about religion and race though.
