ya i try to stay away from using existing soil usually. but mainly because theres so much rock in my area.
That's what pick-axes are for...j/k.

My soil is clay, which is loaded with locked nutes etc. It's farming country actually, now I know what the original settlers had to go through when working land for the first time.

Been there before. Seen a wild Boar once with a pick-ax strapped to his back, the ground was so dry & hard. Put some Mother Nature on it ass, 98 billion, trillion microbial lives that will work/areate/break down nutrients 24/7. She didn't have a fucking tiller, the microbs & worms made the soil perfect & balanced. The needed stuff is molasses, Thrive, compost tea, & liq. seaweed on the soil. The buds, plants, is only an after-product. Period. With good, healthy, living soil, any idiot can grow the primo of all primos. Check out dirtdoctor.com, the library. Learn what liq.seaweed does to spidermits & roots, or molasess, cornmeal, etc. Good luck.

anything less that 12/12 sunlight & you'll start the flowering process. Outdoor, counting shde, 13 hrs min. sunlight. I start indoors, 23 to 24 straight 1,000 watt light mover until 13 hrs outdoor light, around May 20th. 10 gal. space is good. In pots, not good. Once a plant gets so big, one person can't move the thing anyway, so why not plant in the ground?

For outdoors, you can easily get 10 pounds from 10-20 plants. If you pick strains right (for the area/climate), and take good care of them, then you will. Talking from personal experience here.

Plain and simple dont get you hopes up going from a half ounce to ten pounds. Especially since you seem to be quite a new grower. Shoot for a pound and dont be pissed off if you pull 2 ozs quadrupling your last attempt.

Yeah I know it's a Long story blows and plus I started June 20th last year and didn't have a spot prepped which I'm already doing now but the best part is someone wants me to help them grow and they said I can through some seeds in over there and she's got 3 spots that she thinks would be good so I think I get to have an extra 10 plants and ive been doing alotta of research on these super autos and finding alot of people saying they averaged 4 ounces a plant with the mi5 which stands for my idoor #5 but I think it can be out out side plus I Wat to try that super Cali haze and some reg ww auto from Dina fem heard good things about them

Last year I had 16 half masterkush and half swiss cheese and I ended up with a qp per plant give or take. The ground was less than a foot deep in some spots and was mostly peat moss mixed with my soil mix. A few droughts and they still survived. If you have the right food and take care of your babies you will be able to hit your goal. Just make sure your plans have thier own holes of custo soil

yeah i just found out that a local garden center owner smokes tree and i was looking at his bud and it was obviously outdoor so i started questioning him and kinda fucking with him lol and well basically he ended saying a few things that only someone who has or does grow would know lol but i go out every few day and dig and plan on making like single raised beds for each of my holes aka plants lol dont know if its gonna be made out of old fence board/palettes or use the 5 gal buckets from last year but painted....... i think im going with the wood lol but il probably end up doing both just to experiment hahaha but on another topic has anyone been watching that show weed country on discovery.....dude was talking about a pound in cali being like a grand maby 1500 and thats medi weed. here its like 1500 a qp for like the best which is like mid grade to you western folk lol sorry just thought that was crazy

its all possible but its all down to whether or not my ass can do this lol there is rocks everywhere but i do got that 50 lbs steel or iron bar (i should probably take a look at that lol) i mean if i can get around an 0 off the sativa dom autos which i plan on like 15 of them plus some ww auto by dina fem than some heavy indica photos for a hopefully good harvest that it before mid October lol im think hso blue dreams and bubbah kush and hell i don't remember the rest of the strains i want lol but ive found new spots that dont have much clay at all like the soil was like black for a foot down even though there was rocks than it barley started to turn that reddish grayish color with some sand but it looks good to grow in with some extras additives like peat moss and some perlite but hell who knows at this point i plane on putting germed seeds in the ground around 420 because it just so happens thats the last predicted frost date in my area lol

Good luck bro , I had similar goals. I'm now half way through flowering and have lost most from overwatering , had an extremely wet late summer been raining a little bit for the last 30 days with the odd 100mm downpoor , lost a couple to hermie and now I'm left with a handful of monsters , might get half way there : )

All these gurus don't lie , outdoor grows have a way of not going as well as planned

You are going to need at least 8 hours of full sunlight to get decent plants. You said soil was bad too. We can buy compost for 25 dollars a truckload. For 100 dollars I get a dump truck full. Check on that, that is way cheaper than buying by the bag. I get 1 lb plants all day long. Put them in the ground, you won't get more than a few oz from a 5 lb pot. Water is very important as well. I would get clones now and veg as long as you can so you are putting in bigger plants. Put chicken wire around plant so deer won't eat. If you can't water daily, they sell tree stakes for 8 dollars, but I use 2 foot long white plumbing plastic pipe, put in a 2 liter or milk jug of water upside down, cut off the top and when it rains, it will fill up and water the plants. Also bury a diaper at the base of the plastic pipe, and this will hold water for your plants, not just evaporate. This really works, I do this with my potted plants that dry out quickly.

The soil my isn't bad once u get all the rocks out but I know I'll have to put some stuff init like gravel and sand at the bottom of those holes than I'll have peat moss and perlite mixed into it and plus some good ol horse shit lol
