Getting a new set up. Any one have the same??

6" Cool Tube Reflector
600w Lumatek ballast
600w Plantmax HPS
And also a MH too from same people. Not sure which one. It's a kit on eBay. Seems pretty good.
Anyone have the same kit or even if you got the cool tube. Would love to see your setup and thoughts. :blsmoke::mrgreen:

Also using foxfarm hydro three part system, big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom. Don't like how it all settles at the bottom and dosent all get used. Anyone use anything else that they really like? Post and compare the different kinds.
WOOOOO!!!!
Love this site. Bahahahha

Anyone got any reviews for any of these????

The Recipe for Success Starter Kits includes the following product sizes:

• 500 ml - B.C Boost
• 500 ml - B.C Bloom
• 250 ml - SugarDaddy
• 250 ml – ROOT 66
• 125 ml - Thrive Alive B-1 Red
• 125 ml - Thrive Alive B-1 Green

I don't know about Recipe For Success but I was pricing out Fox Farms nutrients and I think some of these are equivalents. if that's the case, you'll need a LOT more. For example, Fox Farms "Big Bloom" is probably the equivalent of B.C Bloom and I would need 1.5 gallons, or 5,600 (yes that's five thousand, six hundred milliliters) for a 12 week cycle. The B.C Boost and B.C Bloom are probably the equivalent of Fox Farm's Grow Big and Tiger Bloom and for those, I would need 1 gallon and 1.5 quarts respectively ( that's 3,785 ml and 1300 ml). Keep in mind that I'm not familiar with the B.C. I'm just researching Fox Farms for my first grow. Here's a feeding chart at their site: http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/hydrofeed.pdf

Yeah I'm using fox farms right now. It works alright. But the nutrients just sit at the bottom of the tubs. Just seems like their not getting all the nutes they need. With the B.C grow it won't sit at the bottom and will mix in the water. Just seems better.

if you can bro stay away from the cooltubes, get a hood if possible.
tubes cool well but the trade off is disgraceful.
im running the lumatec dimmables and theyve been brilliant for me. i drive my bulbs on super lumens from the get go and change them every cycle.

a lot of additives on that list.

Some experienced growers just use a brands schedule feeding and then around week 6 of flower they put a PK13-14(or something close to that) supplement for a week.

I use general hydroponics flora line with the lucas formula. I'm a newbie though and this is recommended for newbies.

Cutting edge solutions makes cheap nutes.

Fox farms are a bit pricey at my hydro store. More than both the flora line and the cutting edge line.

Cutting edge was like 10 bucks a 32oz bottle.

Gotcha.
Iv learned. You pay for what you get. Rather pay a little extra and get the good stuff the first time, then have to go back and pay even more for something.
