Ok, so here's the deal. I am starting to grow again after 2 years of college.I have three outdoor grows under my belt so I understand what I am doing to a degree... Now I am going to go for a "small" cabinet grow in my second garage(not attached to the house). This is also a secure location with all power lines ran underground.I currently have the cabinet and the 400w set up. I know I need exhaust and I am going to buy a blower "cage" fan and have it suck air out from the hood. I am also interested in trying to grow with a 6 plant dripper system, Any comments on that? or is there one better? I am going to be growing ak47 from seed. Once I get a female plant I will clone. What do you think about the ebay hyrdo kits? or should I make a system? Any and all help will be awesome!!!!!! THANK'S

.....also this will be out in a brick building for the summer. i am located in ny, any tips on cooling????

Here is a photo of the cabinet.

I am going to buy everything else that I need thins weekend and I will start the seeds shortly after. I am waiting for the temp outside to warm up to at least 65??? witch should be in a few weeks. I am going to grow the seedlings inside until then.

I am going to make a dripper system, any tips or must haves? Dose any one have a write-up on making one?
Also I plan on having 6 plants in this cabinet along with 30 outside.
What would be the best way to time the dripper? I have read alot of fourms and to my understanding I have to place the dripper on the outer side of the rockwool to prevent rot? As well as time the drip's to about 15min on every 2-3 hours? And cover the base "rockwool" with a piece of colored plastic to prevent mold?

Also, I am having trouble understanding the whole water ph.Any info would be great!!

some pics of outdoor 2005....

I am going to start growing as soon as I get all the suplies. From what I have read on this fourm the dripper should be located on the outer edge of the rockwool? Also the timer for the dripper should be on for 15 min every 2-3 hours? And cover the rockwoll and base of plant with dark hard plastic to prevent mold? Is that all true? Also what parts and must haves do I need for the dripper system? Any other tips?

I thought that was the point of a fourm.... at least the non-bud fourms. So every one could give a little input instead of pm'ing people that usualy dont respond.......

Ok sounds like you are going hydro i dont use a drip system prefer using a bubler alot easier IMHO to build and run you can check my grow to get the basic design for the bubler, also do a search for post by filthyfletch, he is a hydro expert it seems and he has posted a couple of easy DIY hydro systems good luck and happy growing

The easiest and cheapest way to grow hydro
is to use Hempy Bucket method.
No temperature problems that way.
You can search for hempy buckets on RUI
there a re a lot of grow journals using this method.
Works great,
very cheap and uses hydro nutes.
You need to make sure the pH is correct
before you feed your hempy bucket,
so you will need a pH meter.
I have a HB grow in my signature.
check it out and if you have questions
I'll be subscribed to your thread.
Good luck with your grow
