Getting close!

I was thinking about 2 more weeks give or take a couple days
Negative ghost rider …. Weeks.

All those pistils ( white hairs ) need to mature and recede into flower.
Flowers will also increase in mass and weight as it continues to bloom.

Rule of thumb :

Disregard what “ breeder “ or seed pack says on harvest “ time “ ….
Plant will finish when it finishes…… however long that is.
Plants do not follow calendars or counting days.
If you pull plant early , you wasted its full potential and your effort growing it.

Oh and regrading the white hairs. . .. pay more attention to the hairs on the middle and lower buds & not the tops, when you see most of the lower hairs receded that's a more true sign of ripeness than the tops, which always show ripening first since they get all the best lighting.

The goal is to harvest when thc content is maximized. Harvesting too early you might be robbing yourself of potency. If you wait too long, thc converts to cbn (or something like that) in which case you're also robbing yourself of potency. Basically the plant material is degrading at that point.

Trichs are just one aspect. Brown-receded pistils and swollen calyxes are other aspects. There's no "one size fits all" harvesting guide that applies to every plant.

Some plants will stay 100% cloudy for a month, or more, seemingly never going amber. Some go amber quickly, etc, etc.

If you;ve got all cloudy, and all the pistils have receded, and you don't see calyxes swelling anymore, you're most likely in the harvest window. And it is definitely a window. One day less, or one day more isn't going to make or break your harvest.

So true. It's a shame that bad advice has been so proliferated. Harvesting an indica early might give you a little raciness, but it ain't no 14+ week sativa high, not even close. I usually can't stand the high from any plant harvested too early, and I'm a sativa lover.

@MtRainDog Is right

I had a OG Kush That went over 70 days & the bud was over ripe...You could tell
it was plenty dense...but not as pungent. & it lacked the bag appeal it had on the stalk.
I took the clones at day 60 an it was like day & night
Super Sticky - Nice Loud Coffee aroma - Nice dense fluff with some squeeze to it
The smoke was deep but ...tolerance was a issue after a few tokes

Dog, I got 4 OGKs at day 56 since flip. Recent samples taste like hash, trim in a cone I had to put out after 2 or 3 drags. Not sure about 70 and 77 days I read about regarding OGK. Haven't run OGK before, don't mind waiting but don't want to screw it up, I always have trouble deciding when. I waited forever on a haze to " amber up" , all it did was fuck it up. These 4 are LST, looks like about 2- 2.5 oz per plant under a 300 W Mars LED. First time posting, no one in my world to ask. I can throw up some pics, love to get your or someone's opinion. I have to get this when to harvest figured out!
