Do I hear Union talk?? Sounds just like the construction trade. Scabs are keeping prices down by under bidding. When times are hard you see this a lot. And Larry, if you think people in Ca don't know and can't grow top shelf bud, sir you are greatly misinformed. Ca. been in the game a lot longer than Co. And we definitely don't NEED your bud! I'm not saying you dont grow top shelf and someone in Ca is asking for your bud, but Ca is a huge state and I'm sure the majority of people in need of top shelf bud can find it fairly easy in any part of Ca. Also there is no drought Aug.- maybe for outdoor bud- there's plenty of indoor to go around all year long. It's just a little harder for indoor growers to move their bud right after outdoor is harvested. What do you have againist Ca. anyway? Do all people in Co. have the same opinions as you about Ca? I doubt it. Ease up a little, worry more about yourself than others. We're all in this together.

I didn't realize your from Oregon. That explains your attitude toward CA. It's a well known fact that Oregonians don't care for Califorians. Don't known when or how it all started but any type of debate would more than likely be futile and get nowhere, so I'm out- Good growing and.

Here is a new thought. Why are we still talking indoor and outdoor anymore? I have seen some outdoor test out above 25 percent THC and one guy I know growing out in cascade county had some white widow come it at 27. It shouldn't be where its grown but how. If your throwing the same nutrients and time into an outdoor plant you do for the indoor it actually should be better because you cant duplicate the sun no matter how hard you try.

I moved to Oregon from California, and everyone's SO nice. They kind of rib ya a bit, but it's not serious. I think they actually like Californians because we moved here and were happy to pay $350K for a house -- Oregon home prices seem so affordable if you're moving from SF Bay Area. These are also the most polite drivers ever (I'm talking the whole state, except Portland, sorry Pdx....). We have traffic jams because everyone is letting everyone else merge (even me, when I had my California plates). A driver ahead of you can space out thru 2 red/green light cycles before anyone will even think of honking. I am EASILY the meanest driver in Eugene. (I'm working on it)
That being said, there is a LOT pride involved with the weed stuff, and of course Duck Football.
And, as proven by that douchbag's ranting posts, there's blowhards everywhere. I think he's the exception for OR growers. Oregon drivers are polite, but as a California native myself, they're SO SLOW up here. Bend, Portland, Eugene, everywhere. I'm not just talking speed of driving either. I have lost major time out of my life figuring out on a regular basis that a person who has the right of way is waiting to let me go instead of go themselves.
Of course, it's a small thing to complain about. The vibe here is so laid back compared to California. It's been a nice change.

"In the 2013 analysis of collision frequency in the nation's 200 largest cities, Portland ranks as one of the least safe driving cities, landing with a screech and a crunch at number 154 on the list.
The average Portland driver will experience an auto collision every 7.9 years, which is about 27 percent more likely than the national average, according to the report."
That being said, I'm willing to risk my life on these roads before I'll go back to live in Georgia.

Eugene's drivers were like 15th safest though -- but I agree with Mo, they're SO SLOW. Pdx is the Oregon driving exception -- I feel like I'm back in CA. I say that with fondness.

lmao I'm also a Ca native recently moved up here and have noticed the same thing about the drivers. Although I agree with gcnorth about the vibe being laid back and a nice change. Southerner, I applaud you having that passion for growing and not just doing this for money like most.
Oh I believe it... They're so indecisive. In faster, "less safe" conditions, people just pay more attention (I just got back from three months riding a motorbike in the near-lawless roads of Thailand. I saw MAYBE 5 accidents the entire time I was there. )

First let me start by saying I'm no grammar nazi, in fact I hate them. When I was going to school I did not think I need to know what a dangling particple was to make it in life. I was more interested in metal shop, wood shop, chicks, and cars. This was until I tore my ACL, and MCL while working at the ship yards, and made a change in careers. I took an office job, and this is where I found out just how bad my written grammar was.
With this being said, and your comment about proper grammar being a pet peeve of yours, I see more than one grammar mistake in your response

And, as proven by that douchbag's ranting posts, there's blowhards everywhere. Should not begin a sentence with a conjunction ( I learned that on that old grammar kids show, Schools house rock ) LOL. Second, the drivers in Oregon suck ass and are rude as hell. Everyone thinks their time is more important then everyone else's. If you have a two lane, or three lane road with one of them being a merge lane forget about this. This is the cause of our traffic; everyone tries to get in the merge lane, speed up past everyone else, and expect to be let it at the front of the line. Hence everyone has to stop the flow of traffic to let him, or her in.
I have started a trend that sometimes people get the clue, and it catches on. I am sharing this with you all in hopes you all will spread this gospel. Don't let them get away with it. When at the end of the line, and you see this happening, move your car so that it take up part of that lane, and your lane. Then if the guy behind you gets a clue he will move a bit more over as well, thus blocking that lane from those self righteous ass holes that think there time is more important yours and drives on past you only be let in 10 blocks up from you. LOL
