Like the title says, trying something different this year and Need help from you more experienced fellows. I have the following ingredients and what I need to know is what ratio's would you guys mix these ingredients at. This is what I got to work with. I could get one or two more things POSSIBLY in time if absolutely needed but not unless its absolutely needed so help me out and lets see what it can do.
Cow Manure (endless supply)
Dr earth organic 7 (25 lbs bag) has many different meals in it, greensand all that good stuff everyone is ranting about.
Worm castings 30 lbs
Compost (endless supply)
Spaghnum Peat moss (2 bales)
Dolomite Lime (in the mail on its way)
Pro Mix Mycorrhizae 2 bags so far (2.8 cuft each) Not pro mix bx or hp or any of that stuff just straight pro mix Mycorrhizae== local greenhouse had it and swore by it, it's all they use for everything...?
I want to cut costs as this pro mix is $20/bag- I could add some of our rich fertile soil at the grow sites to this mix when i put it in the whole. (I live in some of the richest farm land in the world.) (Mn) ALL of my sites are in some crp land that has been so for atleast 5 years now so them shitty chemicals these farmers put down should be out of the way i hope. plus the sites are up high on rolling hills close to a small river but not too close. do you guys think this would be a good idea? to add dirt there to my mixture WE/You help me come up with? or what else could I use as a (filler) to cut down on this expensive pro mix? more manure maybe?
P.S. Sorry I already have another thread about this in the outdoor section, I'm just not getting any responses, well I got a couple of real good ones, I'm trying to compile atleast a couple good ideas so I have more than just one option and would like more input from a few more of you experienced growers. In no way am I saying they're input isn't good enough because I am very thankful for they're help thus far and I hope I can repay the favor of insight sometime in the future. Perhaps to somebody someday down the road who finds him/herself in this very predicament I find myself in at this very moment. SO thanks To ALL in advance.
