Getting supplies for first grow - Need Feedback/help please

We plan on growing inside of a unused closet that is 2.5 feet wide x over 8 feet long and about 6 feet high and want to make the best out of the grow.

Ordered seeds from attitude:
Green House Alaskan Ice & strawberry haze
Nirvana Mowi Wowie
autoflowering ak47/blueberry
Plus the freebies :joint:


I think we are going to shoot for 2-3 plants with one or two autoflowers. Want to have a steady supply (go through about 2 ounces a month plus want to make oil/butter) Any suggestions on how to achieve this? I understand how to make clones and the vegitation/flowering process. Want to keep one or two mothers around for the clonening part

Is the basic setup good? Should I upgrade the bulbs? The reflector?

The basic setup look ok. Don't really no about the quality, That closet is going to get pretty warm, so Personally I would upgrade the reflector to an air cooled, and pick up an inline fan. Much more eficient for keeping the temps down, and you can set the reflector within inches of the top of the plants. definitly a basic setup so lots more bling to spend.

Get a pH test kit and ppm meter. That will save you a lot of head aces

I use a 400w also in my perpetual cabinet grow.
Check it out, It will give you some ideas

Lots of good grow shops out there. The best I have found is www.lbhydro.com They will match and usuelly beat the competitors prices.
If your going threw 2oz a month, look at a good perpetual grow, with a good scrog setup.

thats where i got my 400watt HPS/MH grow lamp among other things at HTG Supply.... im almost at 1 week in veg

Any reccomendations on the reflector/cooler?

The EasyCool 6 doesn't look to bad or complicated...

What are the difference between AeroMax and Growbright bulbs..is one better than the other?
