GH nutes & H202...

So i'm pretty sure i have a fungai or something in my rez. It's light brown and small like coffee grains. I have cleaned my rez with bleach, but about 2.5 days later it starts to come back. This is also messing with my ph, which is why i have a few twisted leafs. Question is after reading many post about h202, seems like there are lots of mixed reviews. Is anybody with GH nutes using this? If so are you using daily? How much per gal? My roots seem fine all pretty much bright white. Maybe a slight tan from the micro (normal).
My room has been 81-83 for first few weeks with my rez almost as high. Temps are starting to come down finally, no ac in room sadly. Anybody with experience using h202 please chime in. Sorry don't have any pix:confused:

I've been using it daily with GH nutes... most of the growers that hydro use it. So far so good with my aero system, the plants will fall over if they don't like something, and so far h202 is pretty safe.

How long have you been using it? How much? Dude at the hydro store said to use .5ml per gal, not sure the strength. Everything is closed today will have to wait until tomorrow. It's getting worse by the day and i have some leaf twist, i'm sure it's getting locked out gonna need to flush. Thanks for the response.

US Standard
1.28*G/C= Liquid Oz's per day

Metric
10*L/C= Ml per day

C= % concentration of H2O2
L= Number of liters in reservoir
G= Number of Gallons in reservoir

Example: How much 3% H202 should I add to 7 gallons of nutes?
1.28*7/3=2.986 Oz's each day.

I've been using this formula for about a week. Come visit my journal, see the ladies for yourself.

So if i have a 28gal i need about 12 oz per day? That's alot of shiz, just took a peak at your grow. I see you're in soil i'm hydro using a flood n drain

Try again, I'm using aeroponics. I think I need to revamp my journal, people take a look at that soil pot and vomit. That soil pot isn't even in my house anymore lol. I hate soil. Also, if you pick up 35% h202 you can delude it down to the percentage you need. That formula is a bit different with different percentages. So... 35%

G = Gallons
C = % of h202

1.28 * 12 / 35 = .44(rounded) ounces per day for 12 gallons(this is for my res specifically)

Hope this helps.

Hey Slivers i'm terrible at math... Care to do some numbers for me? I got 29% H202 and 25 gals of water in my res. My measuring device is in mls, let me know if you don't mind thanks!.

call it 30% for easy math's sake.
you need to dilute that H202 down to 3% brotha. use distilled water.
im a math dropout but i think 15ml of 30%h202 and 500ml of distilled h20 will make ya a solution of 3%H202 (? someone verify this please)
from there, mix AT MOST 3ml (of your new 3%H202 solution) per LITER of res water.

you're gonna have to get a conversion chart or get used to googling gal to L / ml etc.
Once youre up and rolling everything becomes habit and the numbers are usually the same.
i always suggest keeping a log so you remember EXACTLY what you put in when and when changes started occuring.
PEACE.
fuck math.

If you go by his formula you get:
1.28 * 25 / 29 = 1.1 liquid ounces

I wouldn't round when you are using that much of a concentration.

Well i didn't get a chance to look online before i added the h202, so i went with 60mls for 25gals. I only used this in one of my rez's for a test and if it holds up i 'll add to the other. From what i read from a few peeps i should be good, but we shall see. Thanks for heads up guys, will post in a few days with a update.

A bit late here, but I use GH 3 part Flora Series, and clean my gear with H2o2; sometimes I add it to a reservoir to assist with eliminating any unwanted life from accumulating on naturally sloughing root matter. My bottle of H2o2 is a 29% solution, and states to use 3mL to every 4L. I have a little conversion app that states 4L is equal to approximately 1.06gal. You can use 3mL per gallon of your 29% solution and your variance of point o o something isn't going to matter. I've had great experience with GH and H2o2 at these mixture levels. Peace.

I use gh 3pt and additives , and put about 2.5 ounces in my 15gal res evey 3-4 days . So far so good.

Happy Growing

2.5 fluid ounces is roughly 74mL; in a 15 gal res, you're looking at 5mL of H2o2 per gal of water. This means the bottle says to use 3mL, tree king says to use 7mL, and cocakola uses 5mL - that's quite a range. Any other RainMan out there care to throw some math at this?

Well after 4 days my rez isn't cloudy, ph has been more stable, but the stuff is still in there a lil bit. I use to have real bad cloudy coffee grain looking stuff, now it's more like a lil slime but not very much. Just added some more last night. If plants are still happy will add a 100ml on next rez change.

I had a couple of issues that H2O2 couldn't beat. Grab some Phazon20. 1ml per gallon and let it work. Your airstones will cause it to foam a bit in the rez, but it works wonders. Be careful not to overdo it though. Fully clean everything next rez change.

Thanks for the response, i'm gonna take a stab at this tea that hellraizer posted to me.
