GH for ever has denied us pot growers where AN has always had our backs so I put my money where I see support. Their supplements are way overpriced but who's aren't and most are just BS anyways. I just use the 3-part, $40/gal and Big Bud with a little Rhino Skin. That lasts me 5 years and grows me a shitload of bud. Electricity is what costs me huge and it's almost $100/mth to run a 1000W HPS 12 hours/day.
Wife gave me an 8x12' raised bed plot to try some auto fems in this summer and I plan to plant in the next week or so. If it works out OK I'll be doing lots more next year. Then I can just scale down all winter and do my breeding thing and save $$ on power. Almost 25¢/kwh here. 5 each of a hi-CBD strain and s hi-THC strain. Plus about 20 - 40 of a cross I made. (KaliMist x NL#5 from Marc Emery's seed bank circa 2000) x Purple Jems auto which is Mazar x LowRyder. Just to see if any actually autoflower then spray the crap out of a couple nice females with STS and even cut some male branches off to collect the pollen inside to make reg plant seeds too. That Mazar is amazing for my chronic depression and the Kali has some Mazar in it too.
This will be my 1st foray into outdoor organic growing for about 15 years. Reg plants never finish this far north, 55.08 degrees, before frost or snow kills them. With our long days all summer they don't start flowering until mid-Aug. The wife has liver tumours that seem to be shrinking now that she's taking my RSO 3x/day so need lots of high THC stuff for that. I have at least 2lbs of various bud strains so just want to stock up as I may leave in a year or so. The only positive I have here is the ability to grow pot freely as my closest neighbour is a half mile up the highway and upwind. He knows I grow but doesn't care. Great people even tho they are Creationists but never have tried to shove their religion down my throat. I'm an agnostic atheist who has been a minister of the Universal Life Church since Oct, '78 but hold no ministry. Huge French Catholic schools and stuff here.
Bad enough that I'm a staunch NDP supporter in a world of Conservatives. lol
