i said it before in somebody elses journal it is like the gold rush of the west all over again, just think how many like minded people must be migrating across the country just so they can say they aren't criminals for enjoying the lovely herb.

I went to my gils friends house last night...

Everyone that showed up there had their own bag of weed lol.
There were like 5-6 different blunts and joints passing around....everyone was asking about mine lol.
They get theirs from others while I grow mine.


This one dude is like I get this for $45 oz, I am thinking to myself that I wouldnt even pay that lol.

If I grew that I would give it away.
I have grown very picky it seems ;-)

$45 an ounce !?!? is that some mexi brick shwag or just poor low end green? lol at that price you could use it as a tobacco replacement for your joints lol. I know you guys over the pond don't mix tho.
 
there will always be people who just think that this is a plant like any other, they don't see the nuances that we do.

they think you grow a plant, chop it, dry it and sell it. then they wonder why people won't pay the 200+ an oz that they see weed getting sold for all the time, eventually the grow needs to be paid for an they realise they will have to more or less giveit away to see any return.

it will be like that soon here i think, you will start to see a proper market for quality, at least that is what i'm hoping lol.
 
I aim at that end anyway. for those reasons. why smoke less than the best you can get or grow. you don't drink fosters when they have stella on tap!
 
bad analogy but i understand what you are trying to say.

there was a member in the 600 club recently who grew jamaican dream in nft and chopped at 48 days i think, the plant was still 100%white and growing vigorously. i had to bite my tongue and say nothing but i know their aim was to sell it all to some poor mug who knows no better.

that is the worst to me, taking advantage of people not in the know for pure profit.

the thing that pissed me off the most was the fact that they seemed like a very good grower, the plants looked perfect so you can't even blame ignorance because they know what they are doing.

i can only take solice in the fact that they probably never got much money for it in the end but who knows maybe he got top dollar.

it seems to me there is always a mug punter who will take what he is given, where are they that is what i want to know!?!? lol

yea he is in spain and they looked way white but it is an interesting cross i do sell some of mine but i want people to say mine is the best they have ever had :lol: its a pride thing though i want to be proud of my weed

A Jamaican Rastafarian placed this little gem in our hands. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, Jamaican Dream is a sturdy plant, with Christmas tree-like structure, very easy to grow and flowers very fast (42-45 days), which produces a lot of generous, thick buds with copious amounts of trichomes. we all know how the seed com. are so go about listing things. most people add two weeks to what they say
 
I bought seed of JD from attitude..all the plants needed 9 weeks. And even then they could have gone longer. 43 days would have been VERY premmie.
 
I have heard growing conditions can speed up or delay time, but I have found most stuff I grow to go longer than recommended.

I have never flowered anything under 7 weeks, most are 9+ weeks honestly, and at that they are hybrids or indicas.
 
Grape god finishes pretty quick but even then i let it go to day 55 to 62 at the absolute latest. I think it says day 55 as the rough harvest day. The auto cheese i grew was on point down to the day! Im guessing it was good luck or just really good growing conditions but she finished up nicely by the time advertised. First auto ive grown in so many years.
 
Yea I chalked that one up to breeders lying to sell their seeds. dont get me wrong, it was good bud and yeilded nicely, smoked great, but its not a 43 day strain. Also all 3 feminized seeds planted showed vastly different phenotypes. One was very indica (finished the quickest) and one came out hybrid, and one actually was a sativa. The sativa was premature even at 9 weeks
 
that is the thing they may have that 1 in 100 45 day pheno but this is the harvest pic he is talking about and it needs some time imo

dang, the hairs havent even turned amber yet...thats sad on the growers part. would have got 2x the yield letting it finish, and would have been much better smoke. Guess thats what happens when u dont know how to properly read plants.

on a positive note, the plant looks to be in good health. Doesnt look like any of the phenos I got
 
i think i need me some 43 day chopped bud because this 81 day stuff is killing me, it's all night time smoke, even leaving it til after 5 oclock for a smoke it ruins me.

even the two sativa leaning phenos i had, they don't make you want to be active.


i'll try and get a smoke report for all of them in the next week or so
