this is my cab i converted from a shelf for starting seeds. just added the fan today but since i only have one fan to use right now i cant decide if i should use it as an intake or an exhaust. right now i have in on exhaust and the temp is good.along with the cab and the fann i have 1 clone, 3 seeds in pots and 2-27w cfls. 5000k and 2700k.
still need to paint the inside gloss white but not sure if i wanna keep this box yet.
lemme know what you think.
comments and criticism would be appreciated.

I think flat white is supposed to be much better than glossy. As far as the fan goes, I would have a passive intake and use the fan for exhaust.

those plants are in a very hot temperature. i can tell by how soft the biggest 1 is. use a little bigger fan, exhuast or intake dnt matter just get those plants in cool temps.

ok thanks for that man.
i plan on converting a cab thats about a half foot bigger on each side. i can also reposition the fan up at the top instead of the middle.im also working on another phone charger for another fan but it taking me a while to strip the wire

save up some money and buy yourself a little office fan there around 7inches in diameter and they push quite a bit of air around. the more air you move around the more co2 you let inside your grow space for your plants to use up, it will also help dramatically lower the temps in the grow space, obviously. but dont be afraid to go big on the fan you'll save time and money in the long run when your plants get bigger and youll need more lights, cuz more lights will equal more heat that your gona have to control... but were all here to help so cheers!

1 more tip i wana give you is, when you water your plant try n not to throw water directly on top of the leaves and if you do pull the lights away from them. when the water on the leaves dries out very fast in high heat it damages the plants leaves (dry up, they go soft, they get burned) stuff like that. water conducts heat pretty good so when the water on the leaves if heated up by the lights then your plants leaves are obvioulsy getting a little too warm alos. just a quick tip.

you can use this to your advantage too. try misting your plants right when the lights go off so they can cool down and rest a little better. whatever keeps her stress levels down. cheeers!
