ghetto setup

i just startted my growing closet at 12:30 am on fri. i drew a picture because as of right now my camera is fucked up but i'll try to post real pics soon.

key:
1.compact fluorescent lights (100 watts)
2.clothes rack
3.rubbermaid tote
4.cups
lights are closer to the cups than in illistration. about 3 in. away from the cups. cups have drain holes

i've got them on a 16/8 light schedule. cuz of work schedule is this alright? i'm using miracle grow moist control, is this alright too?

I can't view your design, but from your description it sounds fine (KISS - Keep it Simple Stupid), do you have the proper ventilation? Is the temp and humidity consistant?

Man Honestly, you need more light... you need a fan. and some bigger pots with drain holes, put rocks in the bottom of your pots to make drainage easy... 18hrs of light will work to veg them... but i light to give my babies 24hrs of light for the first 5 weeks then go 18 for 1week before going to 12 and making flowers. good luck!
