So here's what i got goin on - Its a stealth cabinet grow, currently have a 43 watt 6500k cfl and a 26 watt 6400k. For exhaust i have one intake and one exhaust fan, both push about 120 cfm. They go on for 15 min an hour, the lights are on 18/6, with the bagseed at 22 days and the white widow 11.

Im not usin any nutes and tryin to go without storebought additives, -im using fresh compost from a pile i recently started, and sped up the process by liquefying my first couple food waste batches before putting them in. Also looking into makin a compost tea, cus this is the epitomy of a ghetto hippie grow - i have the money for other perks but i like DIY projects -hence the natty light reflectors and moveable shelf (wasnt supposed to e quite so ghetto and cut up, ut still has room for another two lights to straddle it)

the stems a bit weak on that one, my fault by means of a situation, if that makes sense- i had to go out of town for a couple days and it was in a shotglass so it wouldnt have held enough water. so, i gave it an early transplant and its stressed from that but getting Plleenty of light, sitting right under my 43 watt 6400k

stay tuned for the actual interesting stuff, in a few days im going to...... cut the big plant!:shock:- christened Mary Jane, just above the second true node, redirecting the cola hormones to all four lower branches, that will become a square of colas

- cant take credit for it, i read about it here somewhere, ill post the link when i make the cut
in the meantime, im makin ready to use the top of the plant as a clone!:bigjoint:

so here's a little update, i just added another light, a 23 watt 2700k cfl. I'm tryin to angle the lights to build up the lower branches, especially on the 22 day old that i'm gonna chop in a couple days

the bigger one, its from bagseed of some pretty good shit so im stoked to see how it turns out - as of now shes 23 days old, n i named it mary james . :weed:
got a fuckin trunk for a stalk, given how young and short she(knock on wood) is

i had some water damage early on, and removed the first two branches, so now the second n third nodes are the ones that will be remaining - im pretty eager to get it cut though cus i want to get to growin them two branches so i can move to flower sooner, so i think im gonna cut when there's 6 visible nodes remaining (barely 5 now)

for the meantime, gotta look into cloning with momma's homegrown honey from back home :weed:

shit shit shit shit good thing i have two plants - Mary James, the older lady (god willing) is quickly developing weird shiny golden brown patches on the leaves, which are starting to droop but not much. don't know what it is, shes been healthy as fuck till now, bushin like a naked hippie at Woodstock
i guess i gave Mary James a little too much acid :spew:

currently have a thread goin in plant problems, but ill keep the masses (ha, right) posted.

My friend, you have what is called a calcium deficiency... its pretty common... especially with soil's that arent "designed" for growing cannabis... Youll need to amend the plant with calcium in some way...
I usually use molasses to bring micro nutes to the plant...
But yeah, im pretty sure its calcium... If it was a PH problem it would lock out macro nutrients too... so yeah .. My bets are on calcium:)

in the meantime, the symptoms have slowed down n seem like they might have stopped, right about after i watered them if maybe that affected their ability to absorb calcium

whatsup yall, made a cut today, mary james got topped above the third node (but i cut the first leaf set off so its now the second not counting the cotyledons).
i was kinda nervous cus of the deficiency n whatnot but growth wasnt stunted and the symptoms are stopping, or so it seems. :clap:
within the last couple hours from when i cut her there's already the four new branches growin out the nodes:weed:
the top is sittin in a shotglass of honey, i cut off one set of leaves and put it in a bowl with some water under a half a milk jug to keep it humid
questions, comments?
as for the widow, shes doin great, in the middle of a little growth spurt, hopin i wont have the same problem i did with mary james

worm castings have calcium. some chemical ferts high in n use ammonium nitrate, they will list it as derived from,.

lookin good buddha! another thing you can try for your calcium deff is kelp or seaweed, that might work, i use it all the time and its great...

im gunna be topping one of my plants too, and going for the 4 colas....
