Giant 120 plant Aeroponics System

Here are some pictures of a 120 plant aeroponics system I built over winter. I used 6" PVC with 3" net pots. I used two 180 degree sprayers per plant and 3/4" drain lines feeding into a 1.5" master drain. The reservoir was 100 gallons, and in a separate room with a 1/2 HP water chiller. For veg I used Advanced Sensi Grow A+B with Hygrozyme. We later built a trellis over each system to support the plants which were sativa dominant trainwreck cuttings from Arcata. I tried to use just one really strong high pressure pump, but it didn't work out. I ended up switching to 4 separate submersible pumps each at around 1584GPH. Since each system had its own huge water pump it only took a few seconds for the line to pressurize and begin spraying at the root zone. I was able to run all four pumps using a 15A CT-1 Digital Cycle Timer. I was very pleased with this timer, I was able to dial it down to the exact second. I ran each pump for only 38 seconds on, with a 6 minute off time. For lighting I used (8) 600W ballasts with 8" reflectors in a closed loop drawing in air from outside, and then dumping hot air back outside. Separate 6" fans were used to bring in fresh air from outside. For Bloom I used Sensi Bloom A+B with a 12 day clean water flush. No additives were used as this was a tight setup, with no room for risk of clogs or other bullshit like slime caused by "Carbs".

Nice, but do you only have (1) 600 watt light for your setup? Also what strain(s) will you be using in your setup?

wow
a few questions:
1)how pertinent is a water chiller
2)In the 3rd image, does that blue line suck the drained water from the white lines? And DSC04235edit.jpgdoes this system recycle its drained water back to the source?
3)with 3" nets how long do you keep them n veg and how high? Would you consider 5" or 6" in nets or 12"pvc for larger plants?
