n for the record @pk_boosted2 ive been riding along the so called 'bandwagon' aka logic since this shit started poppin off. check the date on the supposed 'fan mail' i sent and go look back at when i started calling you out on your posts n this thread. i know you can put it together with your superior intellectual capacity :bigjoint:

but nah to be 100% honest with you my pm was more out of pity than anything, but mainly to tell ya not to take my posts too seriously (obviously not working). ask our old friend pickpocket. he got a pity message too...apparently I have a soft spot in my heart for ppl that keep getting bashed, but at the same time it's so entertaining that I can't help but join in on the fun. So yeah u caught me. I'm not always 'real'. Sometimes I fake being nice...but at least I'm not a fucking SNITCH! :lol::lol::lol:

The plant can only absorb so much light, and if you have enough watts/ft it is best to defoliate to allow for more cola space as the plant truly doesn't need those fan leaves, in my experience to pack on heavy buds.

This thread can't be locked it's like the UK growers thread or the Club 600 - but way better. Plus it significantly reduces the amount of new defoliation threads. If anything, it should be made a sticky.


So... I was in a grow shop yesterday, getting some larger pots and some soil. "Do you have nutrients for soil already?" It's not the type of shop where they push products, almost an outlet sort of thing. Only one in my area that sell net cups and they know I normally grow in NFT.

"I still got plenty from previous soil runs, but what would you recommend if I didn't have anything yet?"
"Well, most of the smaller growers we get, with a couple to 4 or 5 lamps, use Canna. They grow a pretty decent product with it."
"Do you think it's worth the price compared to others?"
"Huh?"

Long story short, seems Canna is like H&G only expensive when you have to buy it from an importer or at least non-NL location.

Canna Flores 1L in NL: 9 euro vs Canna Flores 1L in UK: 17 euro
Canna Flores 5L in US: $80-100 vs Canna Flores 5L in NL: $36 (=2.5 gram bud in a coffeeshop and enough to produce 1000x that)

Moral of the story is, don't import the same basic elements you can buy for a fair price locally just because it has a certain brand on the label.

seems pretty reasonable, will grow lots of bud :)
i think it has pushed canna in to second place here as its a bit cheaper
best to buy all this stuff in the larger amounts (20L)
1L sizes work out much more expensive

Sounds like a good deal. 20L Canna in NL (AB nutes, coco, hydro, "haze special", terra or flores) already varies from 80-100 euro.

20L House and Garden aqua flakes is for me 55 euro, $65

40L (20 A and 20 B) H&G Soil is 84 euro, a little over $100.
The 20L version is 54 euro, a bit cheaper than that vita link even.

At 40L, Canna Terra is here double the price of H&G but not entirely a fair comparison, Canna AB lines are per L cheaper than the terra vega and flores too.

Despite the increase difference when you go for larger, these two that are (based on forums anyway) often considered good but overpriced, are for me not the expensive nutrients (obviously things changes when you buy all the additives). Atami B'cuzz line is a little cheaper, about 20% cheaper compared to H&G.

Just checked Aptus and damn... now THAT is some overpriced shit.

5L Aptus booster for 460 euro, (360quid, 550bucks)

5L Aptus bloom booster for 1100euro :shock:

5L Aptus N boost (organic and "left-handed amino acids"), 190 euros.

1L Aptus K boost, 43euro

They do not offer base NPK or heavily diluted nutrients only products that add value (<-- their words of course, not mine).
