Glass for HID Hoods

Sup RIU, was wondering if anyone has glass under the hoods of their lights? I put a piece under both my 400w HPS and cut the temp down 5 degrees in the room. Seen a bunch of pics on here but doesnt seem that alot of growers use glass.

i live by it, do yourself a favor, goto homedeopt and get a corrosponding inductor fan- around 30-40$ attach the fan sucking the heat to an external. bammmm a good -15 degree. ohh almost forgot you can keep your lights much much closer because your running cooler and you get some dank ass dense buds

Hell yeah, I'm getting the pipe today for the vents, i live by it now too, i got my 400w about 5-6 inches away from the plants.

most hoods come with glass. mine has weather striping around the edges to make it really airtight, and better suction for your vent fan..Pe@ce..
