Glitches and hand movements

So I thought I would share a few of my doodles and paintings. I am not a pro, nor have I ever taken any art classes (high school does not really count).

None of my work is done with reference. All these "pieces" are done off memory, or using imagination (*insert spongebob here*).

Let me know what I can improve, or if you like anything. :)

your stuff is really good. and on improving, there is nothing to improve if you are doing abstract. one could say picasso could have improved but hey he is one of the most famous artists of all time.

if you want a pointer, work on your shading a little bit. make a circle and start shading from one side to the next. the lighter side being your light direction.

these are really good though. keep up the good work and continue doing what you love. who cares if you dont make any money at it. thats why ill always grow weed. i love doing it ;-)

Couldn't agree more, especially on the weed thing! It's why I grow it too! :)

I will definitely take your advice on the shading, and on the abstract! (Andy Warhol only did silkscreens for the large part...yet he was famous! ...OK we founded the velvet underground too, but that's another story)

And thanks for the compliments :)

haha then you're my opposite. I could never make clay work the way I wanted it too...although fiberglass and I get along... See the attached pic. It's a mask I made. Fibreglass base (overtop a mould I made of paster of paris and plastecine), then it was covered in Hand sewn leather. (well hand cut, then hand sewn, then fixed to the fibreglass). PETA must hate me for it lol.

Pics don't do it justice, it is pretty darn nice in person....but that's me tooting my own horn, and I hate doing that!
