He got me this time with the whole "shutting down the business" spiel. What can I say, it's a good high pressure sales tactic lol
Didnt go crazy though, just a couple packs of his gear, the Guava Berry and Dip N Dots x Jealousy, tried his Whole Lotta Purps and that was fire, still have a pack of that to pop as well. Didnt hit me till I realized theres no fucking way this guys shutting down the site with how many packs hes sitting on, not anytime soon anyways unless he goes full retard, he just got the new Lit Farms new years Red Velvet drop like yesterday lmao

Why do people continue to put up with this shit. These seeds are no better than seeds from other outfits that are easy to order from and deal with. Why do people chase all this hyped up crap? It's a guarantee that most wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the chucks this guy is selling and all the other chucks out there. It's amazing how ridiculous this stupid seed game is. It's as much the buyers playing the game as it is the sellers running it. It's a joke. I'd be embarrassed to say I ordered some of this crap just based on the names being used.

People put up with it because he sells packs for 100 that would cost 200 at any other seedbank, literally, no exaggeration. That's why we'll put up with a bipolar lazy fuck that takes a month to ship an order out lol

There are packs of seeds just as good that don't cost $100. You missed the point I was making in that none of these pollen chucks are worth that. And if you have to go through a bunch of crap they're worth even less. You're chasing pollen chucks with stupid names. Buy something else from elsewhere.

Well, that's just like, your opinion, man. Lol I've tried plenty of the "hyped up" strains and found that I liked some of them enough to wanna grow those varieties myself, like wedding cake or zkittlez for example, both of which were stellar. I've also got plenty packs from other "non hyped strain" breeders like bodhi and mr nice... or should folks only buy from xtsho approved vendors?!? Lmao

Honestly, the way "drops" are hyped, #s are "limited", and even the seed packaging....it all just reminds me of mobile gacha games and loot boxes. The industry works on the same principal of addiction and most people buying the FOTM packs are hording 20 times more than they grow out. The ever present lure of an epic "drop" is tantalizing. And hey, I'm fine with that, I think it's weird, but people can do what they want with their $$$. I do think it's sad how pollen chucking "elite" clones with each other has overtaken diligent, traditional plant breeding in the seed industry, and I think all newcomers to growing need to learn the difference. But the only harm that comes of it is the perpetuation of intersex traits through bad breeding. The FACT that many of these "breeders" don't actually test the offspring of their pollen chucks, and just dump them out on the market as the next hype "drop" is problematic. You can easily end up with entire bad batches of seed and the buyer has no recourse at the point they realize all of their plants are hermies, just another $200 down the drain.

People putting up and dealing with his shitty behavior for discount legit breeder packs whatever… although I still totally agree with you. I just don’t get how people trust the time investment sowing seeds from this bipolar hack. Only so many seeds can be grown a year by the individual and imo it shows. It’s why a bunch of actually nice breeders have great sales or prices directly - they understand the stiff competition they have to win your business but with glo because he’s the lowest of the low in terms of price he gets away with all this shitty behavior because he’s giving seed geeks their dopamine for the month for wholesale. I’d bet 75% plus of the packs glo sell go straight into a vault purely for fomo. Man’s got y’all hooked.

I remember when I was just a young child they had penny candy in all the stores. My mother would give us a dime each and we'd spend forever looking at all the choices making our selection of ten pieces. After we got home it all tasted basically the same which was sweet. The only difference was usually the packaging and what it was called. Other than that they were all made of sugar.

I see the same thing happening today with this ridiculous seed racket except it's adults choosing the candy.
