I think Mother nature will do what it pleases. The climate is always changing, every day is different. If humans have such a big impact on earth then all we have to do is reverse what we have done, paying someone else big money for a carbon credit isn't going to do shit to reverse anything. Its just going to increase the prices on everything that has a carbon tax and will just make some people richer while the rest of us get poorer and the climate is no better off.

I felt like if I knew for sure there would a meteor about to hit the earth, there would still be some asshole with a mouthful of psuedoscience to tell me otherwise. Hint: there is a moral of this story.

Does banning lame lightbulbs, plastic bags, etc. ever accomplish anything? No. Does a conjoined effort and enlightenment to stop using items like unncecssary dipsosables, fossil fuels, etc. make a difference? Yes. I've yet to see a reasonable arguement on the side of environmentally unfriendly shit that doesn't boil down to greed, ignorance, or lazyness. It has become all too easy to demonize lightbulbs, paper, or whatever, than to zoom out and look at the situation for what it really is. I honestly think that people don't give a rat's ass about what lightbulb they use, they just want controversy. The hot air from discussing the stupidest of shit is what's really creating global warming. Last time I checked, this is America and majority rules (and lobbists). If the people want them banned, then the people that want their plastic bags or lame lightbulbs have to quit bitching because they've been outnumbered. Don't like it? Feel free to GTFO.

While there is a slight chance we might be wrong about climate change, at least we're willing to openly accept the data. You with your bullshit mark it off as impossible no matter what. To prove that, I challenge you to give me one piece of proof you would require to accept human activity is one of the causes of climate change. You can't, because there isn't any. Even if it's legit science, you'll think it's phony.

the common light bulb is 80% a heater and 20% a light, cfls are 98% a light... dont blame america blame americans who complain, they take up to much space... i can't believe so many worry about that they might have to live an environmentally responsible life (nightmares?)... i bet your residences looks like junk too
