I’m a little late starting a journal, but as Glookies is a relatively new release, I thought some might be interested

Grow Conditions:

4x8 tent grow
Fluence Spydr 2p LED
Co2 enriched
Great Lakes “water only” soil
10 gallon smart pots

Started from seed. All 5 sprouted. 2 distinct phenotypes.

2 slow starting spindly “weak” seedlings, 3 bushy lush seedlings.

Multiple toppings and lay in veg.

Now I’m week 3 of flower

The two “spindly” phenotypes are definitely Sativa leaning. Their now the tallest plants and showed much more stretch than the Indica leaning phenos.

Only significant note so far: these plants are cal mag pigs. Other than that, the water only soil is working fine.

I do make teas for every 3rd watering. Mostly to spur micro biology in the soil.

Hi.
How did your Glookies turn out? I was looking at running them or the z skittle again.
Also, what is your final opinion on the great lakes water soil?

It turned out “ok”

Ended up with one good indica pheno and one good sativa pheno.

The strain is the bushiest thingI’ve ever seen.

Im sccrogging it this go round with the indica pheno.

Different taste, hard to describe. Certainly a potent strain42280CB4-DBC9-4DC9-BB3A-3D83340888A8.jpeg

There a pic of finishe buds. Best indica pheno was just over a 4oz plant.

From seed, it always takes 3 or 4 rounds to isolate the best pheno and learn what the plant likes.

Hated the Great Lakes soil. Compaction issues. I’m using M3 soil this go round and it’s seems better so far.

Thanks for the info. I read a few more posts saying the great lakes water only soil is not very good.

The buds look super dense for sure. I have had great luck with everything from barneys except their pineapple chunk.
I have a 6ft tent so that sativa pheno has me a smidgen worried though...

Good luck with your scrog
