Does anyone have experience with these lights? I see a lot of hate which I assume is because of the hlg beef but no one has any thing to back any of the claims. Their par maps and spectrum tuning looks interesting.

i to feel the same way i have no dog in that fight but i'am pull the trigger on a few of his Torch 730 but that Tarantula Borg with 60 preset spectrums is next level and the Tarantula Voyager with 12 preset i think is a reasonable price as well

I agree completely. A lot of haters but no one has come forward with facts. I think I’m going to grab a few of those torch 730s while the 420 sale is on. All things considered I think they are very reasonably priced

I just order two of the torch 730. With the 20% off it was $1765 CAD, which I think is quite reasonable for two lights. I’ve been running the same cobs for almost 8 years now,so anything would be an upgrade but I’m optimistic. It definitely seems like he’s putting the work in with the research and development.
I’ll try to check back and follow up here once I get them hanging it my room. If they work well I’ll probably grab at leas one more.

thanks @cannapotimus looking forward to the update i have 3 brand new controllers for my lights 2 AC infinity 69 pro and one spider farmer light controller that or compatible to the 730 torch i have a e-mail from them saying any controller with Rj14 ports or fine but the preset spectrums leds lights like the tarantula voyager you would need the GML controller from them but my plan is to just use the spider farmer light controller for leds and the 69 pro's for environment controls and data also jus hate they only have the app for mobile not desktop for grow room monitoring :wall:

Right on, I should look into those controllers.

Both lights are prefect condition. Packed extremely well, nothing rattling around in the box. I had them running in a shop for 6 or 7 hours at 100% and they got a slightly warm but definitely not hot. I turned them down to 70% and they were barely over room temp. I have to do some renovations to my grow rooms before I get these hung up in there but I’m really stoked to get some plants under these things

can't wait to see the girls under them:clap:
I still have to move my dehumidifier outside the room, duct it back in, and run a bunch of electrical. I’m going to build a couple big beds and probably order one more of these lights. Realistically it won’t be ready for my next run. I’m pretty sure I have the same cut of death bubba that grand master level runs in the room he tests his light on, so I’m hopeful it will like the spectrum

Haha i literally just sat down from checking on the grow room. The plants LOVE the new lights. Was running them at 50% for the first week and a half of flower. There was next no temperature spike at 50%. Even with my dehumidifier running it wouldn’t get above 80. I turned them up to 70% a couple days ago and the plants went nuts. I do notice a rise in temps now but still much cooler than a half the wattage in my old cob setup. So far there’s no comparison between my old lights.
Couldn’t be happier with the lights so far.
Here’s everything around 12 days of flower.
