Go DWC Grow CFL/600w HPS

Good day all this is my very first grow ever. iam useing a closet as my grow room





iam useing a 22gal tub with two 6inch net pots









i have two 6ince air stones with pump

i allso have painted all the walls white









and after two days of non stop work this is what i have so far i got four seeds in the back net pot right now iam hopeing to have 4 more ready to go in the front one soon

i know that seams like a lot for that pot but iam counting on haveing to kill off at least 3 if not more for being males also iam not going to veg these for that long for maybe 2 weeks as they grow iam going to up the hydroyton to even as they grow


the reason that iam pushing this so fast is that iam leaveing in about 2 months so my wife will have to take over the nuting till i can get home and harvest them

i only have ph down and up for now iam going to pick up some nuts, testers, HPS 400 or 600w HID over the next few weeks the CFL's are for only veg at this time and questions or comments will be help fun and now for the rest of the pics

Are you using both soft white and daylight cfls?? I saw the one package was soft white, but looked likeyou had some daylights lit up there...

If not, go get a couple 'daylight' cfls (65k)... They make a big difference in veg... I probably lost 2-3 weeks because I was just using soft whites...

ya i got 2 of the soft white 150w and i have 2 100 daylights with a 75 watt tube daylight and a 20watt tube softwhite i added them in to the mix after i had to go to lowes to get some pullys any more ??? any one the more the better i will have some more pics up towwmer of my 4seeds that i have in now

good deal with the dual-CFls... But FYI... CFLs have two wattages listed... On the box you have pictured, they're actually just 40watt... (150wat equivilant). So if you read on RIU or wherever that's the wattage they mean...

What seeds you got man???

got you on the wattage's i think it should be a good amount of light at this time seeing as how iam allso going to be geting a hps eaither a 400 or 600 not to shuer yet i may get the 400 so i can go duel and most 600's do not let you go duel

as for seeds iam just useing some bag seed i have about 100 of them that my wife has got over the past year

I have some questions man. How does it feel to be home . And how insane are u to just getting home from war to be already 1 wk deeep in a grow.
U were obsessed b4 it all began man. Kinda insane. Cool

it feels dame good to me home and ya i know iam a week in to a grow alredy but it is a good thing it has relaxed me so much in a way in other ways ya it is a bit much i know but i have been reading about this for some long i just could not wait to start as soon as i got home now all iam stressed about is if my seeds will pop up soon

ya iam going to give fox farm a try for this first one my local hydo store is giveing me some for free she dose not get a lot of people in to buy them so she wants me to try it out first and see what i like


any one got any hints on how better to get my seeds to brake gound or is it just a matter of wating now

Bro Its nest to germ seed and get a tap root mang.. Why didnt u get peat plugs?
Anyways in the coco its easiest to germ the make an opening put the tap root in and leave the seed flush with the top of the coc.. Could be alot of things over soaking etc. Or it could be they are germing in the coco and some may pop up..especially with bagseed its best to germ first tho..Why waist the coco on duds seeds if nothing else.

i had tap roots on one or two of them as for the rest they had crecked open so i thouth that i was good now iam worried i know it is just bag seed and i can start over but still it is seeds and i so want to see some green be growing i dont know what todo now iam confused and needs some help humm as for grem i did the soake in water for 24hrs then i put them on a plate wiht a bowl over them on a heat mat but i think they got to hot cues they dried out the first night i think i killed them at that time but then the next day i had tap roots out of 2 of them and a few and opened up so at that time i put them in the net pots with hydroton on the bottome and a small layer of coco and let just put a little on top to cover them then ovre the nxt 3 days i have had the bowls over top of them to help raise the humidity level up to where i need it to be at but now iam think that i over watered them cuse water level was to high cues the bottoms where very wet so that is all i have as of right now i think i may grem some more seeds like 5 or 6 just to make shuere that i have some thing and this time will not f it all up


you know you can read all day long but when i comes to doing it is a totaly diff game i just want to grow my own so bad i wish i had some one around that i could get a few cuttings from and help would be huge and i would be very thank full thank you all for your time and help so far and by no means iam i giveing up i will keep trying till i get plants even if that means my wife has to buy 500 in weed

well i just put 12 more seeds in a paper towel and doing the plate thing on top of a heating mat going to let them sit there for a few days this time i hope it works this time

ok so i grmed some new seeds yesterday and got some good taproots today put them in the tub only 2 this time but iam keeping the other ones i got in there for a while longer and i have about 8 more still greming i also have a humidiffire in there and keeping the hudmity at about 50% it is the best i can do at this time and the temps are in the mid 80's so i hope this will get them going this time

Ahh... Ok bro.. Well id say just chill and realize that ur workin with bagseed a good thing right now mang..
Some seeds simply crack and get tap roots fast while others catch up but its usually worth the wait. Im not sure but it seems i wait for a few more latlely.. They grow the same way slowly but usually the ones that lag are females maybe a dominant feature plants exhibit in the roles they take when they mature.. hahaha who knows.
Im gonna read back here now cause im sure with the effort u made in set-up and the work u have been puting in its gonna pan out..

Its all a learning experience bro.. very simple at that.. The harder i make it the more difficult it becomes.
They gave us the rules man just follow them.

lol thanks man ya so what is did was this i put 12 more seeds in germ on firday night and i got 2 out of that rooted and i put in the hydroton last night and now i have 2 new plants i got two more that i have just put in hydroton so we will see what happens thankfully i have about 100 more seeds to mess aroudn with my wife has been cloceting for about the past year so we have a few to mess around wiht here are some pics of the babys

i also have put them on a 18/6 light timeing i realy want to try the 24 on then go to 12/12 but not with this first one i realy want to just get the jest of this down right now i have read that it does make them grow faster but not many people have done that i see on here a lot that is
