goblin and maui wowie impressions

just scored a couple eigths of (green?) gobling and maui wowie and wanted to share the experience. dude was out of the super silver haze i wanted to score and came back for.

i just took a hit off the goblin, and so far. it's nice and neutral in energy with a little bit of euphoria. i took a light one hitter as my tolerance is low and it was pretty smooth. the popcorn i got is dry and dense, but not too hard to break apart with one's fingers. i like that! the bud is nicely manicured with less resin than white type strains. it has a weedy odor with slight notes of catpiss haze. that's why i chose tese and not kush or bluberry. i hope the maui wowie is legit. it was the next most popular strain name after thai in NY in the 80s and everyone's heard of it.

the bud has something like a soap and musty basement flavor that's hard to describe. very mary jane and vaguely familiar. not going to win a taste award, but the effect has some lightness creeping in and i have another light one hitter i'm going to add to and take another hit. i think i'll like this shit a lot for the high.

well, no one to pass it too, but i'll pass the knowledge and see if i can get a better description of the flavor. OK, i got it... really old wooden house staircase tasting if that makes sense with a slightly soapy perfume taste, but very low key. the catpiss odor doesn't translate to the flavor into bowl hits. i'm going to ditch the old screen to get a cleaner third hit.

mmmm mmmm mmm this is some fun shit indeed. there's a little head thump happening with happy fingers typing. more euphoria. me likee!!! now this is the shit that's so hard to find. very functional and i'm feeling a smile. i'll do the maui wowie update tomorrow maybe. i think i'll get more. can't wait to try the super silver haze. not every grower's in it to get rich.

2 hits is pretty clear headed. the euphoric wave after the hit has mellowed. it's kinda like C99 in buzz, but not racy. took 1/2 of leftovers before changing screen. don't want to waste that. nah uh!

a little spacey, but easy and functional if you concentrate. no stone to speak of really unless it's a creeper like mataro blue and LSD. can be meditative and thought provoking. with a body weight stone that's not tiring. nice potency. i know places where the locals would lose their mind for a high like this on the beast coast.

thumbs up on the buzz for sure. i'd call it on the heavier side of generic haze, but nowhere near skunk #1, blueberry, masterkush, or sour cream. my former procurer of buds only grew stony. i never got to see the RKS i gifted him.

i'll have to toss dude a skunk or kush fem.

i'd call the buzz lost in thought spacey, but not the stupid and confused kind of spacey. i'd call it dreamy if that didn't imply tiring. maybe it's because my subconscious is trying to have a conversation. i wish i knew what's in it, but good shit is good enough.

i think i'll take a clean hit of maui wowie now just to see if any new effects pop up and to get a taste. that bud is a little loosely manicured, but that should protect the buds and the fan trim is probably resinous too.

kind of minty green smelling. with a very slightly catpissy odor with something like a pinesol skunk. vague perfume notes. got all caught up in olefactory stimulation there a bit. i could see someone else describing it as green and piney smelling. i'm hoping that was a hint of haze in that subtle catpiss note. the chunk of out trim i tore off smells more minty now. the smell of one of these leaked out of one of the sandwich baggies.

there's that nice don't need a third hit of goblin effect. the initial euphoria wore down, but i've seen people do what i blazed in one hit. i don't go for lung busters anymore. wanna get a vaporizer now.

on to the maui wowie

i'm my own best dealer. and i have a famous relationship with myself. love that haze skunk, sweet haze, jack's cleaner 2, CH9 jack and even lemon skunk. i won't touch stoner bud like the UFOs i'm about to gift. they're beneath my standards for what constitutes a high or maybe stinky as in odiferous.

if more dealers had the better grade of not stony that these 2 strains offer, i wouldn't even be here trying to steer the lost back to the cause. this new jack already has some of that good stuff, so i don't see what the fuck your problem even is. one hit of maui wowie in my mutt 2 strains happy fun trying to share it experience didn't slow the nice light high up at all and might even have boosted my energy a bit. further testing is needed, but i'm just so happy to finally get high again, i don't know what could possibly bring the buzz down like another bogart for bad art and skunk farts on the ramparts of spambarts and blah blah blah

whoopie! i know a dealer with good stuff which all of the haters ain't got none. so, strain availability is random. 2 for 2 are doing a fare job living up to my clearly stated preferences. that's good enough. i've seen DOZENS of clonebots with more of that stupidity squared stone effect that maui wowie and goblin have even if that's not what they even are. they both have nice highs and that's good enough for me. no need to tear into these for a high that just isn't there. once i get back used to blazing, i'll take some bigger hits. that last woofer wasn't the funnest but i've had worse.

both strains get the happy happy this ain't no afghanicrappy seal of approval from me. i'll leave his OG kush, blueberry and white widow whatever to customers with lower standards, and scoop some weight when the super silver haze pops back for a minute. eventually, i'll try some mids.

ah... it's been a very long time since i've had bud, especially this good. these would at least make my top 10, but not my top 5 maybe. that's not shabby for 2 plus decades worth of who knows how many dozen cash crapping one trick pony strains i've not been impressed with at all. eventually i'll get to know them better and note their differences.

now to take another hit of maui wowie and find something better to do.

I think the guy loves pot and the nuances of different strains. Maybe the best he can do right now is party cups that don't fully finish, but he's not trying to make out like he is a master gardener, just an interested member of RIU who like to share Strain info, whether it is collected first or second hand. I don't see a problem with that, so long as he states so, and especially if he includes links to the original info.

I have read really disturbing things on here that people have said to him, and it turns into a bullying herd mentality. I guess I would just like people to practice a bit more acceptance and kindness. Have compassion people, there's too much hate in this world.

If Hazey would ever finish a grow he would learn so much that he would quit going around spouting shit that is almost right, but not quite right. That is the big issue I have with Hazey. You can read 1000 books but until you have actually grown yourself you dont fully understand the concepts. You can't go around telling other people how to grow and what to grow when you dont know how to yourself. It is really simple, if he wants even the smallest amount of respect he needs to finish a grow and quit acting like he has so much experience. Numerous people have offered to help him out with his grows and he blows up (no doubt he has serious mental issues) and starts threatening them. Until then, any time he posts some bullshit, I am going to call him out so every newb who is reading understands that you don't take advice from Hazey. He is the worst grower on the internet.


Here is a clear cut example. This OP lets you know that it is so rare that he actually smokes weed that when he finally did smoke some he had to rush right to RIU and let everyone know he just smoked some pot.

With all the posting he does, do you seriously think he doesn't know the proper place for a "smoke report" especially BOUGHT "smoke report". Heck no, he got excited he actually had a bud and was typing as he was smoking it. I would be embarrassed to post about some weed I bought, I am a grower.
