"Thou shall not murder"; people do get in other people heads; so except God put a time line on it, I would do a careful deduce and scientific method to the matter. Why would God tell me to do this? What are the deeds of this person God is telling you to kill? What is the reasoning behind me, and them?

What is the nature of the person: evil/wicked or good; this particular question should narrow the potential command as if its God's will or someone is vainly in your mind.

You must determine if the person is wicked/evil by nature/heart or by manipulation of mind by someone else who has an evil nature.

Jesus Christ or Satan?

Does it glorify God's perfect Order; is it for the greater good?

Can Jesus' sacrifice reason the person?


Would it be better for you to suffer; thus, by doing so you will condemn their souls/conscience to the reality of the second death.

Thus, did God mean in the flesh or of the soul? The death of the soul is the worse of the two: flesh and soul.

Why would god tell you to murder someone

Hey hows it going?
Im not really into reading 7 pages so I going to just post my opinion and check back once in while.

So God told you to murder someone hey. That must have been awesome!

But the things is, ok God told you. Your still Guilty, in our society. It may be just in your view of the world. But where I live laws dictate whether your guilty or not.

And he most certainly could have told you to, but doesn't he also tell you not to with the 10 comandments. Maybe a test that you failed.

that is soooo funny

first question: why would an all powerful being have someone kill someone else, seems kind of pointless, he has an infinite amount of power so he could just as easily do it himself (didn't prove you wrong, just the nonsensical nature of what you said).

If God told you to kill someone God'd be facilitating something God said was wrong to do in the first place (according to the Abrahamic faiths) but if God is infallible like the evidence we have now states, then God'd be wrong, which isn't possible.

Still, another question: Which God would've told you this? I wouldn't doubt that in some religions killing another for ritualistic or even righteous reasons was not outlawed, and sometimes embraced. Many ancient cultures used human sacrifice as a way to please the God(s) so maybe you're Incan?


Either way, taking a life, no matter what kind of life plant, bird, human, bug, is morally reprehensible. Everything deserves life, no matter good or evil it's just our jobs as people to make sure that whatever is born, grows up healthy and good natured.

Not when you are told to murder.

Seek psychological treatment immediately, you could potentially harm yourself or others.

God told you to murder someone? Good luck justifying that for the courts. How do you know it was god and not just a voice in your head? Hearing voices is a sign of schizophrenia. Maybe you should see a psychologist like someone else said, before you go acting on this command.
