Riddle,

Damn, I feel for you man. At least now you've been able to fix the problem, and considering how much care you lavish on her I don't have any doubts she will bounce back from this. Might take her a few days to recover and it might either delay your harvest or decrease your yield by a bit, but considering that she will now have full access to what she needs you may end up being surprised by how well things turn out.

Have you decided what strain(s) you're going to use on the next grow yet? You might have mentiond it, but I must have missed it.
Well not going to decrease yields as there is new bud growth (quite a bit actually) and new growth is still very green. I may lose the affected leaves? but seems like she will pull out of it,,,,,,,,,,and yes I do lavish my love on her. There are times when I am high that I think she actually talks to me. Some would say wow good weed your smokin :bigjoint: but I somehow believe that I connect with her when I'm stoned (perhaps that is where my MJ genious comes from???)

I do have an LA Woman seed (was the freebie that came with my order) but may do another Northern Lights Special and just change the light??? Not sure yet?

I know what you mean about them talking to you. It's funny to go in and just sit and listen about half an hour after you've given them water, because you hear all sorts of interesting sounds. :)

I just read through the whole thread and I must say you have a nice grow going. i like the circline light, i have been wanting one for a bit now, but do not want a big fixture for it. If you have time, would you tell me how you wired yours in? I am sure yours will rebound from the transplant, they are resilient plants. happy growing!

It is very simply hooked to a ballast that screws into a regular light socket. I hung the bulb from the reflector using fine wire.

I purchased the bulb and ballast without a fixture

Well Matilda is still alive and has new green growth on all of her buds as well as the lower parts even though most of the main leaves have died.

It seems that she was eating herself to stay alive after the lockout but now seems to be recovering as the leaf necrosis has slowed?

I hit her yesterday with a cocktail designed to give her a better chance, it was a super tonic mix but I added a bit of Jack's All Purpose (veg nutes), a 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salt and 2 drops of superthrive.

I agree it was a very strong feeding, but she really is hurtin so I figure that it will either help her or finish her??? The good news is I fed her this mix yesterday morning and this morning (24 hours later) she is not getting any worse.

The other thing I am noticing is that without all of her leaves she takes longer to wick off water, but is still trying as she has only gone from 1 day to 2

And finally she still has a few weeks to be finished??? as her trichs are still mostly all clear.

I am putting up some pics, you can see the new bud growth, the prudy purples she is puttin off and the new green growth at the bottom with her popcorn buds, plus all the dead leaves, yes I am leaving em on and letting her let them fall when they do

If I can get her back from this mistake I will be able to finish her as planned and then re-veg her as I first intended, which I feel will be an interesting experiment if she pulls thru?

Ouch.

Hey Riddle, she will finish up as is but it will take extra time without the fan leaves. Revegging at this point may not be an option as you need healthy leafset left on after chop to do that. Re-veg takes forever anyway. New clones or seeds are much faster.

Well if she will do it, I intend to go there as I was unable to get clones off her to take back in veg and I really want clones of her :bigjoint:

I am never in a hurry so that is not a problem

Well Matilda is still alive and still kickin out new green growth, although a bit more slowly.

I gave her a good rain this morning, finally got to use the apple cider vinegar and it works really well to lower the ph, we'll see how she responds compared to other lowering additives?

I also trimmed most of the dead leaves so she is begining to look like she is done, but the trichs are not showing done yet, they have gone to mostly cloudy with a touch of amber. Another week for sure and maybe two?

took some more pics, buds are beautiful and stickie as hell, was very tasty licking my fingers after her trim :weed:

wow riddleme she is just hangin in there huh? well ive been havin the same necrosis on my leaves here recently but it is only affecting my more indica dominate plants. and my favorite one is starting to turn a little purple as well and i know its not a temperature variation, as the temp remains at 72 degrees. what would you suggest for the plants, because the leaves are decomposing at a very fast rate it seems like.

Based on your description (without pics), I would have to agree with Doog that you should be steppin up your feedings, sounds like she is eating herself to keep growin?

ok its on the leafs at the top of the picture i cut some of it off ( i know i messed up by doin that ) she looks like she is having the same problem as matilda did. ive been feeding her 3 times a week though so i dont think it is that.
Yes it does look like a mag def similar to matildas, do the nutes your using have mag?

yes in very small amounts though, i think ill just incorporate a very small amount of Epson salt into everyother feeding. like a 1/4 a tbs. or maybe a 1/2 tbs. do you think this would help it out? i think that this problem is caused from leachin the soil so frequently, non of the nutritional compounds that the plant uses are able to remain. but thanks for takin a look at her for me riddle.

I will be harvesting Matildas top buds this weekend, and then will see if the bottom will do anything, I'll post pics once I cut em :bigjoint:

Was not planning to, as she pretty much looks like she did in the last set of pics (after I trimmed her)

New growth has slowed only have like 6 new growth spots, trichs are turning cloudy and a few amber. I should actually wait another week but not thinking it will do much other than give me more amber trichs.

Buds should cure out just fine so not worried about that, I am more wanting to push the bottom since it is still green and growing and I still hope to re-veg her (if she will)

Have not been posting as much as normal cause we are looking at buying a new house :bigjoint: so been fairly busy with that, also may wait till after the move to start the next grow (CMH) so that is another reason I want to re-veg her.

One thing I will share that I have noticed is that the popcorn buds that are under the T9 are much stickier than the top buds and of course I licked my fingers after touching them, GREAT taste!
