Going backpacking!

Going backpacking this weekend, so freaking stoked! Will post some pics after the trip. Right now I'm trying to figure out a good dinner that isn't a $7.00 freeze dried packet. Any suggestions? Also if you have some backpacking/camping pics that might tied me over post 'em.

And a penis shaped rock from City of Boulders, NM.

MREs can be good if you can stand the taste/texture profiles. They're military engineered to provide lots of usable calories and fairly balanced nutrition, believe it or not. They just look like shit on a shingle. Cook themselves in their own package via chemical reaction. My dad always got them free from friends so I have no clue what they cost, sorry! Oh, MRE=Meal, Ready to Eat.

Look what we found camping

I can't tell is that an arrow head or an owl pellet? Beer is great but trying to stay light so a flask of whiskey is in order.
