Going from 24 hours to 18/6 during veg...

I searched for this info first but could not find anything. If I started a grow using 24 hour lighting and then about two weeks into vegging I decided that 18/6 would be more to my liking would this screw up my plants? Produce hermies, or is that just during flower? If someone could help me out with this or point me to the info I would appreciate it.

im in same situation. started on 24 but wanna cut back to 18. hope it will be ok to!!!

it should be fine but make sure you stick with it once you switch. My seedlings will go from 24 to 18/6 in like a week . So I dont think it will be a problem. Maybe wait for some more advice , All I know is it went ok for me doing that on my last crop

Give me a few weeks and I'll tell you. I did this to my plants, except I pushed it down to 17/7

they'll continue to veg as long as u give them at least 16hrs of light

i hear a lot of people start on 24 hours of light for the first couple of weeks. i don't. i never saw a need. from what i understand it will be fine, though i have never personally done it.

Thanks, I will switch over to 18/6 and keep it strict.
