Going into flower early?

Myself and a friend of mine got our clones from the same place this year. We planted them May 31, they are not an auto flowering strain. His plants were not planted well, his wife planted them, but she only just dug a little cup sized hole and dropped them in and after a week all 4 were dying. Mine took off and exploded. We transplanted his, into properly dug holes with quality soil. They were so close to death that it took them a solid 2 or 3 weeks to even recover. They are growing well now but we noticed yesterday one is beginning to flower. I'm curious if this was brought on by stress, or if it's herming or what. They are all the same strain from the same mother. Seems extremely weird one would be starting to flower this early in the season. Thanks.

If it's not an autoflower than your days are short enough to trigger flowering. Photoperiods don't start flowering from stress.

Ya thats the bizzare thing, right now is when the days are the longest where I am. After this week they'll start getting slightly shorter, but only by a minute or so each day.

I’ve seen some guys mention that it’s the plant telling you it’s mature enough to flower. (puberty) So if it was indoor you would be good to initiate 12/12 cycle. Or you just got an auto by accident? Cheers :joint:
