going on 5days little brown?

Okay so i know im new to all this i really need to check this out before i bleep things up xD

Okay so the leaves are growing bigger but on the very edge of them are turning brown should i worry? I used bottled water at first for water then tap water maybe ima use more bottle water

Are you Ph balancing your water? What nutes are you using?

I take it the plants are about a few weeks old? If so, it's a good idea to start Ph'ing the water to about 5.5-6 (depending on grow medium). And I'd start with quarter strength of recommended dose to half strength for the next week. If the brown doesn't clear up in the next generation of leaves, it may be something else.

Thanks for the chart and its only 5 days old. started from seeds =] not weeks. Im sure it alright it might have even been because i took it out of the light for 10min to update my grow room

Na, the taking it out of the light wouldn't have done that. It has something to do with your water or medium. A light issue would make it stretch not change the color of the leaves. What medium are you using? Soil or hydro?

Also, It's never too early to start PH'in the water. I panicked a little when I had my first set of leaves turn brown --about 3 weeks into veg...and it ended up I was PH'ing too high and locking out some nutes. To be on the safe side, I'd start PH'ing the water. Also, bottle water is cool, but not much difference between that and tap. Might as well save your money. You might want to search Mineral water vs Tap / bottle water vs tap / distilled vs tap. I don't remember the arguments well enough, but they persuaded me to only use tap in the end but of course you'll always find advocates for both.

Man you're lucky, mine comes out at 7.5-8.5. We go through lots of PH down.

My water PH is 7.6 is that bad? That from tap.

Yeah you need to bring it down to around 6.5

I go all the way down to 5.5 if I can. Normally during feeding the nutes gradually go back up. I adjust daily. So I adjust low and let it slowly go back up that way they plants get all of the nute spectrum.

i wouldnt worry about the browning on ur leaves, and its not like ur plants gonna drop dead if u dnt have the "marijuana proper" pH i water mine with 7.0 and there doin just fine other then bugs eatin them a little, unless u have extremely high or low pH its not going to make much of a difference for ur plant

and no 7.6 isnt bad MADDEN ur plant like i said isnt gonna drop dead from the pH being a little off. i wouldnt let alot of the ppl in hear pump ur head full of worries and let them make growing pot out to be all that complicated cuz its really not
