My first post - my first grow journal.

I'm really not doing anything too crazy, vertical growing, scrog, aeroponics, Co2; or any of that.
Just a simple organic grow. I'll try and keep posting some random shit sometimes just to keep things as interesting as I can.

Well in other journals people will start naming what they're using but my setup is really basic. Some lights, some airflow, some love. I actually just recently fell in love with growing and really started talking to my plants. Learning them seeing who likes what, who doesn't like this or that. I actually feel like a pimp and the plants are my bitches. I feed them, keep them happy and protect them and in the end, well you know...

So, I talked about my set up so that's out the way. Actually I didn't talk about that did I, I went on about being a pimp. So set-up... Veggin' some on a 600watt lamp. Going to slowly work up to 4 1000w and 1 600w in the corner. Basic ventilation set up... Cold air in, Hot air out, blah, blah, blah

Bio bizz soil, organic nutes, Bat turds in flower... Some molasses, and other nutrients that I see fit.

Ok.. so you read this far so I'll get to the strains. All of my strains are started from seeds.

8 OG Raskal - White Fire Og
2 Bubba Kush (Katsu Cut)
6 EWOK (Albert Walker x Tahoe Alien)
4 Chem Dawg #3 x Snow Lotus
3 Bodhi Seeds - Sunshine 3 (Sunshine Daydream x Chem #3)

Well I think that's enough for now. I'll put some pictures up, I'm on my 3rd week of veg on a few of the strains and others have just been popped. I didn't want to start in the beginning bc most folks are interested in the bud shots. I'll do my best to do an accurate smoke report as well.


I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time with these freebies. I hope that one steps up to surprise me and actually be good. I had high hopes for the Cali Connection - Blue Dream Haze but it's the weakest of all my plants. I'll go into this later...

Looking back now and realizing my phone pics are pretty shitty... Well, I guess I'll have to start using a better camera... Sorry folks we'll just have to grow together. For now, it's just going to have to be shitty pics.

1.jpg The Wi-Fi's transplanted into slightly larger containers. The roots were getting a little too big for my 1 gallon containers and I didn't have enough soil to fill my 5 gallon containers. So I transferred them into 2.5 gallon containers, and will make their final move into 5 or 7 gallon.

Anyone with experience growing Wi-Fi's want to chime in? Will these plants grow big enough to justify the need for 5 or 7 gallon containers???

123.jpg SO........... I finally got the cure done on my last grow I just finished. Pulled just under 1.5 lbs (1.38 lbs) off of 1 switchable 400w - 600w ballast in an 4 x 4 x 6 ft tent. There was no air conditioner where I had this tent set up so I had trouble with temps over the summer and had to keep the ballast on 400w during flower to keep the temps down. Still got way more dry weight than I imagined.
I ran 16 1 gallon containers of various strains, lost 1.5 plants to bud rot. Still the other buds came out really good. I had a lot of obstacles to overcome but it definitely made the grow that much more fun. Oh, it was grown 100% organic.

That's a good question. I have a pack of White Fire OG fems that I want to run and was wondering the same. I'm sub'n in to see how those Bodhi seeds do. Good luck man!

Alright so here's my attempt at a smoke report of some C99 that has been curing the past month and a half in mason jars. This particular pheno got a little purple coloration in it, not so much the bud but the leaves. The buds were rich with thick, almost furry sherbert orange hairs. Decent trichome coverage, looks lightly dusted and does sparkle but nothing to go too crazy about. Nice bag appeal. The buds are very solid, dense but not too tight. Breaks easily, a bit clumpy, more of the bud that you have to tear than crumble. The smell is very warm and spicy, with a rich fruit bouquet. An artificial grape smell, with a slight graham cracker note. Somehow reminds me of when I used to open and smell the instant Quaker oatmeal packs that had flavors like Strawberries & Cream, Blueberries & Cream. The weed has a very warming, rich spice with a not so overpowering fruit undertones. This stuff smells good, not too overpowering but it is very inviting. It draws you in closer to the jar wanting to smell more of it but never getting quite enough. If I had a complaint I would wish that it was just a bit stronger.

Ok so I break some up load a bowl full. Being a pro I grab the lighter, barely light the center with a slow controlled pull. I then circle the lighter around the edges of the pull and inhale a bit deeper, clearing and drawing the entire hit, letting the smoke gently glide over my tongue trying to get a sense of the taste. As I sat there I'm holding in the hit, a bit disappointed expecting a bit more taste than I got. The taste though not bad was very unimpressive. It is extremely light, too light. You can make out a little pineapple, strawberry, grape... Kind of a watered down taste of a lot of different fruits. Now I must say that the smoke is very very smooth. It's very silky, light and whispy. Very soothing smoking with this strain.

So I wait a few minutes as I feel this euphoric, aggressive high creep in. It is very euphoric, but laid back. Think sublime, the feeling you get before a summer thunderstorm. The high takes control of you and just creeps all over you. You can fill the hit on the sides of the face, definitely all in the head and face. It just melts your surroundings yet is not slowing or sleepy at all. Strangely your body is relaxed but the high is really centered around face and corner of the eyes. I can see using this strain to really focus on serious matters and contemplating. The high really just washes you over. So I load a second bowl, bc that's just how I roll. I'm going to see how high this strain can take me. I walk over to the fridge grab two beers, bc the first one is going to get drunk on the walk from the fridge to the "Ghetto Lab" where I do my growing and smoking. This time I just hit it with all disregard for taste, bc quite simply it isn't there. Smash the hit hits me. But, I'm not done yet. I'm going to at least put down 3/4 of this bowl while it's still fresh greens... So, I take another hit. Hold it in, at this moment I'm so high that I didn't even need to exhale. I think I could've held it in, taken a shower, finished my other beer, with no problem. I've really never had a high like this that focuses so much of the energy around your head. I feel like my head is the shape of a light bulb.
The high lasts intensely for 45 minutes, and then just lingers around for a good two hours. You can still feel it's presence, it has an energy to it, that surrounds you. Even after two hours you're still high, but I like to stay in that upper 50% of the "high as hell / sober scale". So I just smoke a bowl every hour or so. I do this until 7:30am. After a porn marathon, couple of beers, for some reason cough drops, and some meatballs, "Into the Wild", I decide that if I continue smoking this shit I will not sleep so I stop. This stuff can keep you awake, but it really isn't that speedy energy you get from some strains. This is more of a euphoric happy high, but not the silly, giggly type.

For the growers out there, trimming this plant was extremely easy. Only a few fan leaves, pulling out a few other a few snips and it's ready to hand to dry.

Not my favorite strain, but I wasn't sorry that I grew a few of these. I wouldn't keep it my personal stash, but maybe there is commercial potential with it. The high is great and noting. Even though it wasn't my favorite type of high, I can respect it for what it was. I'm sure many people would love it. Smell is good enough. The yield was really good. I pulled 3 ounces off of one plant in a one gallon container with only two weeks of veg. Here is a picture of one nugget the size of an iphone. It is incredibly easy to grow, gave me no fusses except the humidity which was my fault due to the conditions.

Next week I'm going to open the jar of DJ Short's Blueberry from my previous grow and do a smoke report. I'm anxious to know if I want to search for a keeper pheno with all the shit about hermies, poor genetics, and mutants. Luckily mine didn't sprout any nanners...
I hear the keeper pheno is worth all the trouble.
I'll find out soon enough.

Also going to smoke my Trainwreck and will probably do a report on that at the same time.

About to germinate these Goji OG and considering to tap into my Blue Lotus seeds as well. I'm trying to work out the situation in my mother room just in case one of these are keepers. I also decided to hold off on dropping my UGORG - Blues. I already have a Blue Dream Haze going and might pop these Blue Lotus seeds so I think that's enough blue in my garden.

Also, just so you people know, this grow journal is also going to be space for me to just talk shit and not strictly about how much of this nutrient I put on that day. I'll try and do some of that, but I tend to grow very laid back, and let the plants do their thing as I do mine.

Depending on how long you plan to veg, I would advise going with a decent size pot. Wifi can be very stretchy if you have the og dominant pheno. Like 2-3x the size it was when you flipped. She is a fairly easy grower. Likes extra nitrogen in early flower...isn't a super heavy feeder but isn't finicky either. You will definitely want to keep her around regardless of yield. She is an all around conniseaur strain. :) if you need any more thorough info pm me or something. I have been growing white fire for the last year and she is by far one if the nicest strains I have ever grown. You won't be disappointed with any OGR gear..I can promise you that. I will post some pictures of my girls when I get to a computer...damn iPad lol

That'd be nice if you could post them. I really want to see some good pics of Wifi in flower.
I'm going to veg for about 1 1/2 months so I was thinking a 5 gallon should work but didn't want to run into root bound issues.

Would you consider the OG dom pheno the keeper???
