Golden Globes, Your Thoughts?

My thoughts? A big fuck you to the Hollywood Foreign Press! LOL

Paul Giamatti beats out Johnnny Depp whom had two nominations in that category for "The Tourist" and "Alice in Wonderland"?

David Fincher beat Chis Nolan for "The Social Network", sure it's a great film, and Sorkin deserved to win best screenplay, but really Fincher over Nolan's Inception?

Steve Buscemi was good in Boardwalk Empire, but I do think Michael C. Hall should of taken out the best actor in a tv drama!

What do you guys think?
 
It dragged a bit in the beginning but closer to the end the speeches got more and more interesting. I had to rewind so I could watch De Niro's speech again. Pretty ballsy behaviour I'd say, from a lot of them. And I agree, a big fuck you to many aspects of the Hollywood cult.ure.
 
I've never had any interest in watching the wealthy and famous pat each other on the back.
