Just wondering if I'm gonna see anyone at the shows. I'm be camping 3 days with a group of 15 - 20 heads. Shows are Fri, Sat., and Sun. Every show was worth seeing.......so many moments of bliss!!! Last Labor Day was an amazing weekend of fun........and I don't even know half of their songs now. I wouldn't call myself a Phish head, because I'm not, but the scene is so worth it. You can buy $75 weekend camping tickets if you just want to chill and not see the shows. Kids under six aloud in free, for all you fathers out there.. I am not one of them.. Only thing is .....to enjoy yourself fully, you need to spend $600 total, between the food, camping gear, drugs(optional), and tickets. And this is the skimmed down cost from last years $800. BTW.....I made my $800 back in one day and then some. Remember... people are coming from all over the country where buds are still 40 or 50/eighth.

give people some time to respond MC...you posted at 7am and then again at 11am. I for one dont even wake up most days before that.

I used to be a huge phish fan and may or may not be there. I was never one for sleeping on the ground at the festivals though, I always rented an RV with a couple guys and we all stayed in there...Its especially nice to have the AC going and a safe place when we were doing NOS.

I had a feeling. Phish isn't as big as they used to be. Tickets on the east coast were impossible to get if you didn't do pre-order tickets. Now it's different and I love it because all the meth heads are gone. It's a mixed crowd of older people like myself and the twenty somethings.

I love camping in a tent city....it rocks, if you like having people all around you.. I get the RV and the NOS, but I'm not 20 anymore and would hate to be stuck inside. That's not camping to me. I would want an RV if I was going to Burning Man, but this is on a grass field and every tent gets a 15 x 15' area to hang in. We will have about 6 or 7 tents so everyone around me, I will know. That is a huge area for us. And coming from over 70 Dead shows, I understand how to roll in the dough, because I cant afford a $1500 weekend between my wife and I. That, my friend, is a shitload of coffee!!!

Only coffee. I did very well last year and expect to kill it this year...

I sat 2nd row center up in Albany in 98......I was X'd out of my mind!!! My first show was in a bar in Vermont in 1990. I was still touring the Dead heavy then, those 90 and 91 shows were insane. Jerry was cleaned up and Brent was playing like he was going to die any day......and he did.. Too bad, cause I can bet a million dollars, we could of had a few more years out of Jerry.. The good old days! Im gonna go smoke out and play some Cumberland Blues on the guitar!!:joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

I think i was at that albany ahow (i moved here from IThaca) things are kinda of a blur from back then. My definate favorite show ever was the melinium show down in florida on the seminol indian res for new year. Back when the acid was still flowing freely. I literally sold 2lbs in quarters in an hour...there was a line of people begging to buy weed at that point...was an amazing couple days

Did you go to the Clifford Ball at the Air Force base in NY in 1996? Fucking monster party of 70,000 heads! That was when LSD was still LSD and not bath salts or some other BS poison that kids love to take these days...

What ever happened to just getting high without being sick?? I feel bad for kids these days..
