half my crop, my nicest girls only about 10 days from harvest, ripped, left nothing, Im speachless, im heartbroken, 3 plots ripped this year, I hate this, easily over 5 lbs. I know I'll find who did it, peace. I really didnt think it'd happen to me

thats terrible, hopefully the other half will still make the season worthwhile. this is imo the biggest reason why outdoor growers harvest early, the threat of losing it all verses some premature smoke. this has me seriously considering just pulling asap as i only have one plant and the thought of losing it makes me sick.

Yeah sorry to hear this, Especially in the northeast where I am also located. leaves will be falling and these are gonna stick out like a sore thumb and I feel i have lots of time left before harvest. I hope frost don't take mine.. hope you find out who swiped them =( bad JUJU for them..

Hey man, just try to be positive about the whole situation. It could be worse, your freedom and safety is more important than your ladies in the long run. Although I do feel your pain, keep your chin up and remember what happened wrong for next time.

the problem is, that sometimes nothing goes wrong but bad luck. it goes deeper than what some asshole in the "my plants got stolen thread" said. the whole "if your plants got stolen, then you didn't work hard enough to keep them hidden" line of thinking doesn't apply to that many situations. some people seem to think that the only way to grow outside is to go to an area 20 miles or so from a road. the bottom line is that people wander to areas where you wouldn't ever think they would go and there is almost nothing that can be done to stop this shit from happening! its a gamble no matter where you plant. again, seeing all these threads just makes me want to pull what i have even if its a week or two premature rather than risk a total loss, sad but true.

sorry to hear dude,i have been nervous every time i go hoping they are there.need another week or 2 not all ready at once.atleast yours are not all in one spot like mine.

So sorry Mr. Marijuana, that is really heartbreaking! I hope those thieves get what they deserve, if you have any idea who did it either rat them out or go get them. Though I realize it's very hard to say who did it and random people stumble upon weed every year. It's hunting season guys it's not unlikely that they find our grows considering we need a water source near by and animals love water (ducks, Moose, deer etc). So yeah if there is any threat at all, I say pull them guys. Atleast were over the half way mark for most growers at this point, sad but sometimes necessary to harvest and maintain your sanity.

i was walking the other day, i looked across this sorta field, two guys had arm loads of plants ans was hauling ass. you know they ripped those, bastards, so far so good, mine hasnt been touched yet

horrible end to a great season, choppers got a few today. Fuck! they circled a bunch yester day and i knew they spotted them, harvested the ones pretty close to finish, and scattered a bunch in the woods while leaving 1 or 2 at my original spots(they gotta get something out of there efforts) They came by again today, up there for about 40 min, 40 min of heart and gut wrenching pain, all this work, and it comes to this, what, a week away from harvest. I went up afterward, the ones at my original spots were gone, torn up. You know its funny, the cops get on growers bc they say they damage the enviroment, these pigs only care about making sure u dnt profit, bc they leave just about everything exept the plants. Theres a light in the dark though, i know atseast one girl i hid is still good, Ill have to check the others, to see,

Why do bad things always happen to good people. Good to see your taking it calmly unlike others that make their crazy "wtf mf'er's got my shit" thread.

Its human to be upset, but when ppl get crazy pissed its either they are growing for the wrong reason or they forget about the peace and good vibes that they once got.
With that being said ill part this thread with a few words that can apply to just about any situation. :)

If you immediately know the candlelight is fire, then the meal was cooked along time ago.

Wow, man... I'm really, truly sorry to have just read this whole thread. I totally feel for you, man. My brother had his plots trashed a few years ago, too... in almost the same fashion; one by thieves, and the other from cops. It broke his heart, and he was nowhere NEAR your level (5lbs in the first plot? WOW)

We think he probably lost about 5lbs total, but that's still a blow to a guy who was just growing for smoke, and to help out his friends and family.

Mine are on my actual property, so the only thing I really have to worry about are the choppers. That said, they're surrounded by a bunch of other greenery, so hopefully, they're a bit harder to spot. Plus, there are only two of them, so I'm hoping that it's not worth their while to land the chopper in my back yard for that. My 100lb German Sheppard should keep thieves away.
