These were sown directly into the medium in a 5 gallon bucket. Took forever for the tap root to touch bottom and the plant to start growing. Nothing but water until a week ago and I fed them. They really took off. Full strength Lucas formula with a teaspoon of Big Bud and a teaspoon of cal mag added. Zero problems.
