Good deals on 400w grow tent kits & how to setup?

Hi everyone!

I've ordered my seeds yesterday from Attitude (2x Vanilla Kush and 6 pack of Rocklock).

Now I need a grow kit with a tent (24x48x60/2x4x5" preferably) and a 400w MH/HPS 4" extractor and carbon filter...
Here's what I --->found<---.
It's got pretty much everything I'd need except for dirt and a fan.

What do you guys think about it?
Or do you have something better at the same price to suggest?

Good deal, not a big fan of the batwing reflectors to be honest. You could probably piece it together on ebay for less.

About 474$ Free shipping in canada i have there grow tent and 6" inline fan love both, had there 400watt light kit it is 2 years old still worx gr8 sold to buddy of mine.

well the kit is 409$ with batwing and for 49$ more you get either a cool tube or a cool tube with wings...or an umbrella but I don't think so lol

I looked at growtents.com and while they seem great they are much more expensive.
Anyone has experience with GrowAce.com?

i Think best bet is buy from certain places dont buy the kits, piece it together from online and local hardware stores for venting and things like that.
also a canadian based company u can avoid border/customs fees

Yes but since GrowAce sells it as a full kit with nutes and everything it comes down way cheaper...try putting a full kit together with a tent on growtent.com under 600$.

I tried, I'd really love to buy Canadian but I'm on a budget.

It's a good price. But, the nutes are the only name I recognize. The rest are off brands. Not that it's horrible but not 'name brands'.

It will get the job done if everything works. The only thing is it might not last quite as long as a name brand or might not be around to honor your warranty in 2 1/2 years.

Getting started is rough. It easy to get ripped off thinking you're taking a short cut when it's a pit fall. I personally like band names I know and trust. That makes me a late adopter but I'd rather do it once correctly.

Don't get too caught up about the nutes either.. it's only about 20 bucks and it one bottle.

I like the fact I can order everything through the same site (saves on shipping). I want to save a maximum since it's my first real setup, but knowing myself, I know it's not the last one. My plan is, paying for this setup, after that I'll be saving around 100$ per week. So I'll have the money to afford the brands...and a 600w and a grow room instead of my own bedroom
Basically this setup is to get me through, get me started and something I can afford.

You might want to remember, when you import this stuff from the US, you're going to have to pay the duty and taxes as well. So it won't be as cheap as you might think

That's why I ended up buying here in Canada instead.

Actually you are right...hadn't noticed shipping was free with them...and no worries about customs too
But I still have to find some place else for nutrients...i'm not spending 75$ just for small bottles of basic nutes..

yes, the Canada factor needs to be dealt with.. Grow ace is in California though.. I can't help but laugh a little. Ace is what I call someone when I really want to call them asshole.. or Acehole.. "Thanks, Ace!" lol So grow ace is like Grow Asshole to me.. lol

Holy crap! I hope I can afford it soon...I haven't been sleeping too well, or at all... I guess I'm getting excited lol
