Good grow from poor product?

So this is a huge question ive asked my self before starting a grow. Ive studied, watched, read, every single thing i could find on growing some good bud. Im under the impression that aslong as you treat your plant(s) great, youll have a great result.. So basically what im asking is, anyone out there ever get some bag seeds from some nasty bud, grow it and turn it into some killer bud? Im trying to avoid buying seeds online and just grabbing some bag seeds from a buddy. I dont really care if i know what strain it is its for personal use so i just want it to be some nice healty and shiny bud =D.

Usually the only difference I've seen between strains & bagseed are the seeds. The seeds suck the THC outta the plant like no tomorrow. So I'm under the same impression that if you get a girl, treat her right, she'll do right by you.

Yea it seems that would be the case, its just all the different types of strains you can grow blow my mind, some seed 12 bucks, some seed 300 dollars..Doesnt quite make much sence to me.

you can grow out bagseed with good results. At the same time thats subjective. I like to grow multiple plants. If one grows 3 feet and the other 5, id be kinda screwed. I also like to know that everything im growing is gonna be killer. With bagseed you might get a couple good plants and only one killer plant. Its still always going to be alot better than the bag it came from if you take care of them.

It's because people are stupid and many businesses prey on stupidity.

Thanks for your input, i should be starting my lst grow in a week or two from these bag seeds so ill be posting pics!
