Good homemade fertilizers?

So right now I'm using a miracle grow mix for my plants and I've read that commercial mixes aren't very beneficial nutrient wise, do any of you guys have any good homemade fertilizer recipes you could share with me? Their purpose and how well they work? It'd be greatly appreciated

Both. If you are using their soil just be carefully if you add nutes because it already has a lot in it. If using their nutes just go light and see how the plants respond. Just don't over do it with either.

Can someone advise me what to do and what to look out for with spidermites?how to get rid of them prevention of bugs thanks.I use horse shit and tomatoe food as a fertilizer seems to work well but i am a novice grower and any advise growing outside would be good

soap+water+maybe canola oil sprayed under leaves can prevent mites. 1tbs dish soap/liter should do it. Or you can pay $60/liter for a retail solution of soap and water. Spidermites will show up as little spots on your leaves. If it's bad you'll see webs. Check the undersides of your leaves and you can see them crawling around.
