Another hot one this morning. Around lunchtime we had a big thunderstorm come through. Little over an inch. Closer to town, one of my bosses got two inches in 30 minutes.
At 1915 it's clear, 82F with 83% humidity. Forecast high/low of 92/73F with 30% chance of rain tonight. 10 day high/low of 93/71F with 6 days of possible rain.

Well, an incredible stretch of 10 days of perfect conditions will end tomorrow in SE Wisconsin. It has been sun all day long everyday. It is like my garden is breathing under the light each day. Late summer's are the best here!
Cold front tomorrow AM. Rain followed by a drop in temps. More seasonal weather is on the way, with day time highs barely hitting 70. Evening lows will dip to the mid to low 50s soon! Always nice for the buds!

No. As summer continues, the forests here progressively dry out, making late summer and fall the worst season for fires. As climate change progresses, this pattern describes a larger and larger swath of the West, as chronic drought sets in.
If this sounds like a vicious circle, you've got the right idea.

I'm enjoying this heat today but it's kinda Erie ..
Yesterday seemed to be the switch to fall finally with leaves falling a bit of a cooling in the weather by 5-7 c and last night or early morning I guess around 3 am it .. it poured and I mean silence to heaviest rain I've heard in a long time. Stopped suddenly after 30 minutes or so and just thunder all day now. Thunder that shakes the house and wind that I had to bring my plants into the garage.
And today it's extremely hot. Like yesterday didn't happen or something..
Hopefully not Tornado brewing ..:/

First real fall weather settling in for Wisconsin and much of the Great Lakes region this weekend. Highs in low 60s under sun and lows of mid 40s after midnight. I imagine northern and far western Wisconsin may see some light frost if skies are clear enough in some areas.

I've had another group of sunny days this week. Still finding rot, but some of the young stuff might finish.
At 1330 it's fair, 92F with 50% humidity. Forecast high low of 92/71F with 40% chance of rain today. 10 day high low of 92/69F with 9 days of possible rain. So the first night of lows in the 60's has finally shown up. Still 10 days out, so a while before we will see if it really happens or not.

Yeah. My LoD is 12hr 9m 53s today. I don't fall to 12/12 until Wednesday.

Plant fell over in the storm but she made it without breaking branch yay!
Hope for some cool non rainy days to finish these girls off; one of my girls needs like 4 more weeks and I'm not sure she will get there
