Good Ph Water?

I've got a couple gallon jugs of some "mountain spring water" that has a ph of 7.87 that I've been giving my girls. I just did a little bit of reading and I belive it should be lower, like between 6-7?

My last grow I just used water from the filter system in the fridge and it seemed that plant was healthier. Should I switch back to the tap water or is this good water?

You definitely want to lower your ph. If you are using hydroponics. I would say 6.5 would be your highest point. Try to keep it in between 5.8-6.5. I have been using spring water a little bit. It seems to do the job, but so does tap water. I add lime juice to my tap water to reduce the ph level. Also, if you can. Test your chlorine levels in your tap water to make sure they aren't high.

Okay, well I know little about soil hahaha. But I know that the ph level can be at 6.8 I believe in soil. It is higher in soil than hydro. Other than that. I can't help much. Sorry man.
