Good plan? First Auto-Flower grow.

Ok so I originally planned on planting some regular bag seeds outside into the ground as my first grow, but i changed my mind. Here is my new plan.

I want to get a couple auto flower seeds from a seed bank (maybe attitude). I will plant them immediately probably in a 2 gal pot (probably will just use potting soil) ,but first i got to find a empty place in the Forrest. (Originally planned on planting them in the ground, but that's less control for me) I will water them only for the first 2-3 weeks, then use nutes for 4-5 weeks, then use bloom nutes. I am in the Tampa bay Florida area. Florida doesn't get to cold, and the end of rainy season is coming, since they are auto flower should i be ok planting them this close to winter? This is my first grow, so let me know if I left anything out :).

Oh ya and ideas of places to put the pots would be very helpful, cant find anything near my house :(.

Thanks!

Average Temp in Tampa Bay shows lows in the 50's through the winter...however, recently (the last few years) its been getting down into the 40's and even 30's. I'm new to growing too but that might be a pretty big risk planting this late. Not to mention, its gonna take you a while to get your beans from (where ever) before you can even start. Can you grow indoors at all? Even one plant?

The person I live with smokes but wont tolerate growing, and I respect him (In other words he pays most of the bills :P) so unfortunately no. But the average temp here in Winter is around the 70's. At least thats what I heard, I just moved here at the end of last winter.
