ok so 2 of my babies turned out male,...i took em oput and replaced with 3 new clones,..i dont care that theyre small,..i just wont get much harvest,..but my problem and question!!!! can i cut one of my plants smaller so i can lower the light for the 3 new clones i put in,..? i am 12 days into flowering and the one i need to cut,...i gotta cut like 6 inches off so my clones can get light,..the clones are about4 feet away from my 400w mh,..and the one i need to cut is about 20 inches away from the light.... SUGGESTIONS??? PLANT IN BACK RIGHT WAS MALE,..NO LONGER THERE....FRONT LEFT,...MALE NO LONGER THERE,....NOW,..SIT 3 CLONES

I wouldn't do any cutting that far into flowering and since you can't raise the others I'd just leave it, your clones will stretch alot. You could also add some cfl's around the sides of your clones, might help reduce the stretching factor . You could also try training it with a slight bend, tying down your plant, then you could lower your light a little, just don't overdo it.

Lookin good bro, Id also recommend LST'ing the tall one, tie it near the top and bend it down a bit. Then you could move them all closer to your major light source.

Low stress training, you can look it up on here. What u do is tie down your plant and bend it. Tie it near the top and then tie it down so that it's bending, not to much you don't want to break the stem, this trains your plant to grow that way and all your lower branches will start to grow up towards the light. This will also give you more light coverage on your plant and more bud hopefully. You can use the search - LST or low stress training, there's better links for it on here that explain it better than I did and show the results. Check it out

so you have what, 4 plants growing in that one container, does that work? id say in a month those are gonna be fighting each other for space, but hey, if its worked before.
