Hey guys. I'm completely new to this stuff but this Ebay shop seemed really good value to me. You can also buy them in packs of one blue light and one red light.

What do you guys think? You could go mad planning different combinations of bulbs.

What would you recommend for a 2 plant grow box? Would it be best to get a small amount of the higher poered bulbs like the 85w or more smaller bulbs like the 45w?

I was thinking of maybe a single 65/85w bulb above each plant and then maybe 4 45w bulbs round the sides. The only problem is cost because you woyuld need to buy the same amount of bulbs for the flowering stage.

Still, some high powered bulbs here relatively cheap.

I can personally tell you that right now I'm growing one plant using 6x26w(156w) cfls and I haven't experienced the slightest bit of stretching and it's growing at an alarming rate. I'd feel fine putting 2-3 maybe even four under there. IMO 1x85 and 4x45(265w) would be fine to grow 2 plants, depending on your grow area of course.

Also, thanks for the post, that's some sweet bulk prices in euros on cfls!

just be sure to keep those lights as close as possible and reflect their light at the plants as best as you can...you cant afford to lose the penetration with CFL's or you will get alot of stretch :)

Cheers Man. If I ever get this thing off the ground I will cherish them and keep the light right on those babies ;) Just trying to work out an optimum config for 2 plants for around £50 for both Veg and Flower lights.
