Good strain for stress relief?

it used to help with stress but lately every time i drink, especially if im not in a good mood to start with, it turns my stress into bad behavior. :dunce:
 
Well, that's not a good thing then. You have to concentrate on the good aspects of drinking, which is relaxation. If you are getting angry, then you have much deeper issues to deal with. You may need to get some counselling from a professional.
 
what are you doing for stress besides cannabis? exercise, yoga, meditate, etc.? indica's are calming, to say the least, but can stop you from gittin' things done.
try passion flower tea, also.
 
theres just many factors in my life right now that tack on unneeded stress. i dont have very many outlets for it which is why it builds up sometimes. it never gets out of hand unless there is heavy drinking, so i tend to stay away from that. marijuana helps very much with relaxation, i was just wondering if there was a specific strain for stress. certain sativas can make me very edgy and fidgety but indicas definitely have much more of a calming sensation on me.

any heavy indica is best for high stress levels. I have severe anxiety due to stress. I can tell you, stay away from sativas, they make you think too much.

just find a heavy indica. makes your whole body relax rather then fuck with your head

Medicine Man is my fav...

if you have a hybrid strain, let it go like a week or two longer then normal. it will have better stress relief properties.

i just picked up some herijuana beans from sannie and i heard its practically a narcotic feeling so im looking forward to trying that stuff out.
 
Emerald Jack is good, even though I would say it's more suited for depression. But, it's easy not being stressed when you're laughing, however, it's a bit on the strong side.

Tottaly agree with him, prodomently indica will relieve alot of stress. I have someof the same problems. 70-30 ratio of indica - sativia, seems to be a great blend for some really good relaxation with a nice " where the fuck am I " from the satvia =]

Also dont just rely on MJ for stress, theres a reason your stressed. Yoga meditation, tea, and deffinetly a counsler. Its not "gayy" to talk to someone if your life is so stressful that you have to resort to subustances to deal with it. Man up , face your problems. I assure you MJ is not a cure, fixing the root cause is.

Just stay away from the pure sativas which can CAUSE panic or anxiety.
The heavy indicas are the ones that numb your brain.

I second that, well at least on the yoga and meditation. It sounds kinda homoerotic but it works good for stress and tension. just the breathing and stretching exercises when your fuming really does it. It helped me quit cigs and i still do it every now and then when i need to clear my noggin.
