ok so i have been spending some time on google earth and driving around and i cannot find a GOOD spot in the woods.

the only places i can find are in parks and near beaches and that cant be a good spot.

i was hoping that someone with a good sense and some experience could go to ggogle earth and locate michigan then circle a few spots that would make sense to check out. if you draw a line through michigans center horizontally i would like to stay on the bottom half.
please pm me the response if thats possible so the spots can stay a little low key lol.

iif this is alot to ask of you guys then please just ignore and dont bash please.

You have to get out and just walk. sometimes alot of walking. you will eventually find a good spot. sometimes you will find an unbelieveable spot really close but maybe not big enough. you have to be flexible. a great site is a great site. the chances of finding a 'perfect' site is extremely rare. in one of our canyons there is only enough space for about 30 plants but they happen to be in a spot in the canyon that has all the nesessary conditions and is very inaccesible to hikers. in some other spots we can only have 5 or 6 plants together every couple hundred feet. in our best area we have more that 100 plants quite close together under excellent cover. that spot took years to find......... happy hiking!!!

i can appreciate the question, finding a good outdoor grow spot can be tough
so i thank god for indoor growing everyday, but i suspect that doesn't do you any good
there is the option for the truly desperate, tree growing in a tree
up you go with growing supplies, and hopefully a very tight grip
there is a grow log on RIU of someone who did a very good grow up in a tree
keep in mind this could be deadly dangerous, but it has worked for some

dude, start off just on an ordinary hiking path, in the woods or something. then just stray from the path and see where it takes you.

fortunately, i live in the middle of no where, but i have other problems than people, slugs are a bitch.

yes i am not crazy enough for that, plus there are tons on helis out here in the summer. i also grow inside but i want to experience an outdoor grow. i want to make some 6 foot monsters.
im currently looking into my options as a medical patient. perhaps i can legally do a single plant in the backyard or something.

so the Michigan MMJ laws aren't clear on outside grows?
you'd think if you're legal, it wouldn't matter
but a pretty new MMJ state, at least compared to Cali, still a work in progress?

thats why i said pm me and circle 5 potential spots or so.

i found my problem, i was staying zoomed out alot and looking for heavily green areas. i now zoomed in and looked for smaller patches of trees and i can find spots to look.

the law states it must be in a locked facility. i think i can do a greenhouse grow and lock it up.

greenhouse would be excellent
i guess it depends on how flexible they are with what constitutes a green house

haha i googled this and what i found was a news report mentioning RIU about this actual topic. Here is the excerpt...

"Swiss Police spotted a marijuana farm hiding among a crop of corn in the state of Thurgau. They hauled in 1.1 tonnes of marijuana, describing the bust as an "interesting chance discovery."
The crop, covering two acres, would have been worth 900,000 Swiss Francs ($1.18million). Prosecutors in Switzerland say they will charge 16 men over the crop.
Police aren't the only ones to be using Google Earth, though. "Anyone ever use google earth to map out their prospective grow area? Seems like a great tool to me," wrote one user on the marijuana-oriented online forum Rollitup.org. "It's where I found my grow spot," replied one, and "YES.. Its great, I have found lakes and streams I didn't even knew existed, Till I used it. I definitely recommend looking at it before heading out. Saved me a lot of time," said another."

i kinda laughed at this as the police are using it too, and that RIU was mentioned.

my suggestion is to walk to where you think no one would go then go farther. dont listen to where othr people say because they could easily come take ur crop. only YOU should know where the spot is. im talking from experience
