alright so check this out.. the other day i went outside to the tomato garden to check on a plant i have growing in a patch, and the poor thing was wayyy droopy so checked it out, turns out a gopher had gnawed the roots out to make room for a tunnel. little shits.. anyways the plant was only a couple months old and didn't have any growth large enough to take for clones, soooo i clipped the plant into thirds and used the top for a clone. but i also removed a couple nodes of growth from the stalk and dipped the main stem (cut into thirds) into some Rootech and then into the rockwool.
basically the point is HAS ANYONE CLONED STRAIGHT FROM THE STALK? will this work or am i embarking on an experiment that might let me down and the plant be dead for good..?
thanks.. p.s. here are some pictures to make it easier to see what im talking about
