It's not mud slinging if it's the truth. A bad encounter is exactly that, a bad encounter. Appreciate the info, I prefer to avoid shady vendors and this sounds like it could be one.
I've never (knock wood) had a package seized by customs, so not sure what they use to reseal the package. Complete speculations, but I heard they'll insert a notification of some kind that an item was contraband and seized.
I know with attitude, using the guaranteed shipping, their policy is 21 days after it ships if it doesn't arrive, they reship no questions asked.
Two examples of why i use them
On my very first order had a crushed seed, sent them a photo and said "hey my souvenir was damaged in shipping, can I get a replacement". Their response, just let us know on your next order. Sure enough on my next order they replaced it.
2nd example I had one package that showed "delivered" on tracking, but the post office some how lost it between my mail box and the truck. Notified attitude of the situation with a very nicely worded email. Their response "wait till 21 days, if it hasn't arrived let us know". Waited, notified got it resent for free. Funny part, about a week after the replacement arrived, the original order showed up on my doorstep.
