just wondering if there was some type of technique to get buds really fluffly or if it was just in the genes.

Fluffy? normally fluffy would be a bad thing, but if you want em light and fluffy, give to much heat and not enough light.

Mostly it's genetics. Why do you want fluffy bud? Most everyone wants tight dense bud. Just curious.
It is said that using MH lighting for the flowering cycle causes (or contributes to) buds being less dense, but that hasn't been my experience.

i mean fluffly and tight just nott soo dense. ive seen dense buds as tight as rocks and a 1.0g of that would look like a 0.6g... i want something that'll look like a gram when its a .7

in that case go to attitude seeds and look for the "rip off your friends and patients" area, some top notch stuff there.
Im sure your not trying to rip anyone off, but use CFL bulbs, keep em like 6 inches away from your plant, don't give em nutes and let the temperatures soar.

If everything is grown right, then its the strain if its still fluffy, otherwise heat, low nutes especially k, low lighting, stress in general, or.even pollination

I see what dude is saying, he's gonna give a gram (no rip-off there) he just wants something that looks like there's at least a gram (or more) for "bag appeal".
I don't know what to tell ya guy. Some strains are fluffier than others. My JHxIndica had 2 phenos that I had concentrated on, one had really tight, dense bud, the other really fluffy. You just gotta grow some out to find the characteristics you're looking for.

@jack harer someone that understands me.. thats exactly what i meant "bag appeal" just want it to make it seem like soo muchhh more so people are happier. believe me im not trying to rip neone off.

Believe me,Unless you live in a legal state, if you are growing and get it down, you are gonna have a product that will far surpass anything your clientele is used to, so bag appeal will be a non-issue. Once they taste your bud, they'll be beating a path to your door, or blowing up your phone.

I understand bag appeal for sale ablility, but you will end up with less product (less money), and most likely less potent due to the way you would have to "attempt" growing fluffy nugs (less money). I suppose there are strains that grow fluffier. As stated earlier your friends will be beating down your door if you just grow the best you can.
